I was amazed at this man having positive reviews, given the flat-out dishonesty, incompetence, lack of medical knowledge, and disregard for patient well-being I observed in my own contact. Perhaps, since my own experience was as a patient of Salem Clinic, where he has a financial interest in not providing appropriate treatment, there was a difference in his motives, but I found his behavior so inadequate as to verge on the level of registering a complaint with the State Board.

Dr. Byrkit is by far the best Dr i have found in Salem for years, over ten and would not change. He is very limited in his hours of practice, but his patience, understanding and knowledge are the best and he treats you like a real person, not a number. He has helped me through numerous med changes, crisis and normal everyday problems. Very conservative IMHO
