Always up to date with the latest research. Very straightforward and honest; no beating around the bush. He will give your case his full attention and does his background research. He is very intelligent.

Do not recommend this doctor. No eye contact whatsoever, types on his laptop THE ENTIRE TIME! I'm certain he is smart but he needs to be in teaching or research because hus bedside manner fails miserably!

Dr. Lerro has been treating me for over 7 yrs and we have established an excellent relationship. While other reviews may have complained about his 'bedside manner' I find that he is thorough and compassionate. If you come with questions, he will take as much time as necessary to answer every one. He works with you to decide the best treatment for you, for your comfort and for your financial situation! At one point I was unable to pay my bill at all, and very special arrangements were made, without any change in the quality of my care. The wait time fluctuates, but I think that is due to the fact that he will take as much time as necessary with each patient. I believe he is one of the top doctors in his field, and many reputable medical associations agree! He has won numerous awards for his practice and his research. If you want quality, professional thorough care, Dr. Lerro is the right man for you If you want to be coddled and comforted, then you need a good ol' country doc, not this professional, excellent physician!

Very professional. I found his use of a laptop to record office visit to be a "best practice". I walked out of the office with a complete summary of our discussions. No risk of transcription errors. No extra paperwork. Staff knowledgable, cheerful and efficient.

Dr. Lerro has no bedside manner, stares at his laptop your entire exam/visit. Wait times are very long. The staff has no respect for your bodily privacy. if an issue arises he usually says I've never seen that before. I would check reviews for another doctor. He maybe knowledgeable, but not a wise choice otherwise.

Dr. Lerro and staff were caring and compassionate while being thorough and knowledgable. Regional Oncology has given me courage and strength.

His bedside manner is ridiculous. He does not make adequate eye contact, his patient interaction skills are that of a 18 year old, and he does not tell people their diagnoses accurately. He has NEVER been on time, waiting 45 minutes or more in exam rooms, for a less than 5 minute "exam." He should chose another specialty or go strictly into research, because Oncology is not his forte. These patients do not feel well and many die - they need better care than what "Doctor" Lerro can give them.
