I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS in 2016. I am a 69-year-old male. Currently I occasionally use walking sticks when I am tired or if its icy. After seeing several MS physicians, I was told there was nothing out there to help me, to go home and live the best life I could. I then sought out Dr Jacquez. She is a neurologist that takes simple approach. She views treatment at a cellular level. She has put together a protocol that emphasis wellness and life changing things to do. Reading for knowledge, sleep, hydration, diet, red light therapy, exercises. Every time I see Dr Jaquez she gives me suggestions to try. E- stimulation and diet have been most helpful. If I have had a bad night with spasity, cramps, or restless legs, I have been able to look at my diet and figure it out.
Dr Jaquez is the best at inspiring people and she made me realize that I can live a long and healthy life despite having a few limitations. I consider her a friend and I would highly recommend her!!!

In 2018 I was diagnosed with MS and Dr. Jaquez is the most amazing doctor. I was a total mess when I first met her. I was eating fried food, drinking soda, not exercising, and was very depressed. With Dr. Jaquez's help I have changed my life around. I am eating healthier, working out, meditating, happier than I've ever been. The last year I have not had any new lessons or relapses.
Its hard work but if you truly want your life back you will do what you have to do to make that happen. Because of Dr. Jaquez I have my life back and the future looks so bright.

Her generous and encouraging spirit motivates patients, and she provides the facts of the situation and an appropriate course of action, blending medical and supplemental options. Her mind, body, and spirit focus provides a dimensional whole-person approach. Having the opportunity to work together with a doctor with the dedication and compassion of Dr. Jaquez is a blessing. Dr. Jaquez is the kind of doctor that explains what is going on with your body in the way you can understand. She takes time to help you know your disease and how to work with your challenges to still have an active life. She believes in treating the whole person not just giving you medicine for one pain after another, she works to find the root causes of decline and working with the patient to get on the road to better health. She is my favorite doctor. I love that she is willing to give me time for face to face talk not stand above me and Lord over me explaining stuff too fast for me to remember or comprehend. She is the BEST! And I am sure of this since being a military wife I have been to 9 other doctor's in different states and when I came here Avera Neurologist didn't even examine me, just kept telling me my problems are not MS! after 9 other Dr's in different states diagnoised me with MS. Dr. Jaquez is a Godsend for all of her patients.

I loved this doc ... I take a lot of supplements, she was okay with that - except one - she told me why, and helped me fix it. She was honest and told me NO medication would help, in my case, but told me what would. I knew this, but needed the help to remember, and the encouragement to just DO it. She showed me a video of one of her patients who was in a wheelchair for 12 years but is now able to stand up and walk with a walker. That will be me, next.

Dr jaquez is an amazing neurologist, she takes the time to go over your medical records and tells you what you need to hear not always what you want to hear, but her recommendations are always right. She makes sure as a patient you also do your homework so you as a patient are aware of what needs to be done! I would recommend her to anyone, she has gotten me where I am now and we are definitely heading in the right direction!!!!

Dr. Jaquez is the best doctor I've ever seen! She is so knowledgeable and personable. She knows what's she is doing. I have been going untreated/undiagnosed for a couple years now, always going back to doctors and not getting any help. Finally I have found someone to help me! Its just an amazing feeling. You can tell she is really there for you and this just isn't a job for her, she cares! She has called me twice after a procedure I had done just to make sure I was feeling ok. She is very direct and will tell you what you need to hear and not always what you want to hear. She has definitely changed my life for the better, and I couldn't thank her enough!

Dr. Fanny reminded me of Dr House. She amazed me, and pulled no punches. If you are not doing your part to keep yourself healthy then you are going to hear it from her, I am now quitting smoking in the hopes she will follow me as a patient. She ACTUALLY KNEW MY MEDICAL HISTORY, read it all, and knew it, forced me to really explain my issues and gave me hope. I have been to many doctors, and even the Mayo Clinic (on a different matter, and have never had a Dr actually take the time to know my history and my chart, and she did so even though I was just an ER admission. She noticed tests that had never been done, and should have been, and made sure they got done. She is abrasive, if you are not taking care of your health, and direct. If you care more about your right to kill yourself then your health don't expect her to coddle you, but if you are dealing with the MS/You-are-a-hypochondriac/TIAs/We-have-exhausted-all-tests/go-home-with-more-pills nightmare and are ready to get answers, go.

I enjoyed meeting the Dr. Jaquez. She was very friendly and took the time to explain everything that was a worry to me regarding my MRI and health issues. I would absolutely recommend her as a top notch physician. She probably doesn't remember me, but I remember her with most thankful thoughts for helping me through an utterly terrible situation.
