Best doctor I’ve seen in 10 years. Too bad we don’t have new family doctors like him. Was just by luck in clinic we got to see him.

Well, I just had an in-person consult with Dr. Rice and I have to say "He's one very special person!"

Nice, nice, nice. Easy to speak with, kind, funny!!! He's the whole ball-of-wax!!

Dr.Rice while covering for my doctor whos away has been a godsend, i have a complicated condition and many allergies so im very limited on meds i can take, he listened to me and my concerns before responding and actually helping me. His knowledge and understanding of lesser known conditions and the symptoms of thise has been beyond helpful.
Having a doctor listen to you about symptoms and concerns is very hard to find now a days, and he is very patient and kind unlike many doctors i have seen.

No other Doctor like him. Never rushes you. Never puts a limit on what can be discussed. Never condescending. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable down to earth and relatable.

Dr.Rice is the best! No other doctor can compare to him! He knows his stuff!! Wish we had more like him! Get rid of dr.higgins! He’s a waste of breath! Many of his patients died already because he can’t help anyone, he likes to say let nature take its course! You need time and In time you will heal

I had a great deal of faith in Dr Rice and found him likeable, but over time found his glibness unacceptable. He attempts to use humour inappropriately to the point it is condescending. By the end of his career it became clear his med choices and knowledge were outdated. My new physician has was very surprised at my care or lack of. Lynne, his RPN has me giggle at her little girl voice until she was irked- then the voice changed! Her responses to questions showed her lack of knowledge as well.

Always great with his patients and actually cares for them and has compassion. Wish he didn’t have to retire.

Dr. Rice is a great doctor. Very personable and caring. He listens and follows through carefully to help resolve any medical issues. Been with him since he first started to practice in Picton.

I am from out of province. I seen Dr. Rice in the ER. I have never before felt so comfortable and that my issue was truly being addressed with sincere care. If all Drs. Behaved and treated patents like Dr. Rice treated me I believe our healthcare system would benefit greatly. The best Dr. I have ever dealt with.
