Dr Cumming is very knowledgeable although at times it feels like pulling teeth trying to get information - be prepared, do a bit of research ahead of time and have your list of questions ready. He is calm and tells it like it is without being rude. He is also a funny fellow and we enjoyed our interactions with him. Most of all, we achieved pregnancy after three IUIs (after 2 years of trying on our own). He recommended the appropriate treatment for us given the nature of the problem (older maternal age and low sperm count). I was unsure it would work, but given that an IUI is minimally invasive and cheaper than other options, I am glad that we trusted his judgment.

Dr. Cumming was very helpful and attentive. He has lots of students with him, but maybe because he is knowledgeable. He speaks softly so you have to strain a bit to hear, but we enjoyed his quirky jokes and pleasant demeanor.

I have just started with this Dr. after 1 year an a half of trying and using a BC clinic to start treatment (the waiting list for him is REALLY LONG). So far we've had a good experience. My first appointment with him took about an hour. He had us go for more tests and sceduled an HSG for me right away - although he did forget to mention the "fasting" part of my blood work test, I'm grateful to finally be getting some answers. I'm torn on the aspect that he won't give any false hope....When I asked him what would my options be depending on the outcome of the HSG, he refused to say. I guess in a way that's good, but I like to know the worst case scenario. Our appointment was first thing in the morning and he was right on time. He talks a little quietly so I had to strain to hear him sometimes, but my hubby and I have a good, positive feeling about him. Fingers Crossed!

I have been seeing Dr Cumming for over a year. He is very honest and doesn't beat around the bush. He is always willing to answer all of my questions and I feel like he really cares.

I have pcos as well. Have been seeing this doctor now for 5months. He is good at what he does but you definetly need to know some stuff about your condition to ask the questions you want. He does try and joke around with you and sometimes it is relaxing and comforting. I find he does have the interns or nurses tell you alot more of the information than he does but he relays it to them and in turn he is also training new doctors to know what they need to know. I'm still new with this doctor and have a long ways still to go. But so far he has been good. Little late with appointments for procedures but what doctor isn't. So far so good will continue with. Until I no longer feel comfortable.

Dr. Cumming has been an outstanding help for our fertility issues. I have PCOS and he has always been open and honest about our options. He had mapped out our strategy for getting pregnant with the first step being laproscopy to deal with some endometriosis that I had. The surgery went smoothly and he explained to me on the following appointment exactly what the post-surgery notes meant. He has always communicated well and even jokes around. The staff at the fertility clinic is (for the most part) outstanding. I have been thankful for their help in my pregnancy pursuits.

Sorry to say, but we had a terrible experience with this doctor, and the clinic he works at in general. Misinformation, and general flippant attitude. I have gleaned more information about our fertility issues from bulletin boards and websites than I have from him. Got better information from doctors at other clinics that I called, desperate for information.

Dr. Cumming is very knowledgeable! He knows his stuff and has a great sense of humour-you do have to know some of your stuff to be able to ask questions-I always take my husband so he can ask the questions. The staff is fabulous!

I have been trying to concieve for over 5 years, and Dr. Cumming listened to all my concerns and what route of treatments I wanted to take. He was very quick in getting all my appointments and tests done. The nurses are UNREAL! They are great! I have no words to describe this clinic other than FABULOUS! I am now pregnant and expecting triplets!

Lousy bedside manner - has an offhand, flippant attitude. We've been going to the fertility clinic for IUIs for 7 months, and only saw him once 7 months ago, despite the fact that he's our assigned fertility dr....the rest of the time, we're seen by the nurses (a different nurse every month for 7 months I might add). We haven't had the frequent blood monitoring or ultrasounds that are standard at other fertility clinics when patients are on superovulation meds (actually, we haven't had an ultrasound at all to check uterine lining or follicles). So we're quitting this clinic and will seek out a new one when we move to Ontario. I think there's a reason this clinic doesn't have a website or any success stats...most other clinics in Canada do.
