The women at reception (I meant to say ladies but that is an overstatement) are well known to be rude. 4 members of my family have stopped seeing this doctor because the level of rudeness in the way the treat patients is unacceptable and almost insulting. They don't take into account many of them are elderly and not with the best level of English.

For a Portuguese Dr., you're a disgrace to the Portuguese community. The way you and your staff treat the elderly Portuguese patients is embarrassing enough to make a person vomit. You gotta go!

Every single negative review is true! Most disrespectful and impatient doctor to be serving especially the elderly Portuguese community which he is highly known for. Sad this is the only option they have as a doctor. Very rude and you better make sure you only come with one problem!!! My mom has come home upset multiple times as to how he treated her. She speaks about more than one issue and he LASHES out on her saying ‘FROM NOW ON WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE ISSUE U MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR EACH ISSUE’ where is the common decency and respect? You should be showing care and compassion. My parents are almost 70 and over 70 respectively ... they are in times where they are scared and that’s how a doctor is treating them!? I will do my best to find them a better doctor wether they like it or not because someone like him should no longer be practicing medicine if he cannot give the proper care, answers, and help. Shameful.

He is a very caring and friendly Doctor, I am very happy with his service, he is our whole family Doctor. I have nothing negative about him, I am very grateful for all the help he is offered us through out all these years.

Dr. Baptista need to retire. He clearly lacks the ability to conduct himself in a safe and ethical fashion when he is treating patients with multiple conditions.

His rudeness is legendary and his lack of curiosity to come up with solutions to complex situations clearly indicates he should NOT be practicing medicine. He is an unsafe practician who no longer functions to resolve medical issues. It truly is dangerous to have him continue to practice. He is not as mentally acute as is needed to function as a practicing physician. Avoid.

Every negative comment is 100% correct. My parents saw this dr for years...they constantly complained about his mood swings, rudeness, making them wait 1+ hours, giving them pills for undiagnosed ailments. A pill pusher at his best. Oh an d never ever question him on anything or complain about more than one problem, his poor attitude turns into nastiness. He never told my dad about that he had high blood pressure and he ended up dying of a stroke and he wasn’t even retired yet. The doctors in the hospital told us he must have had high blood pressure for many years to have such a fatal stroke. I may refer my worst enemy to him, but no one I even slightly like. Stay away.
