Dr. Mcleod is an amazing women and doctor, and I am very happy to have her as my family doctor. She delivered my son 19 years ago and still remains my doctor. My only complaint is the waiting time for her, but I understand that she is back and forth to the hospital delivering. She has told me she is no longer taking on new pregnancies as she knows she is overloaded, as her wait times are long. I find her to be very compassionate but tough as well, no sugar coating.

Dr. McLeod is consistently over an hour late. Even if you request to be her first patient of the day you will still be waiting over an hour. She may be knowledgeable but her time management and consideration for her patients is appalling. .

Our family loves Dr McLeod! She is about to deliver my third baby. She always listens and is very knowledgeable. The only reason she is late with her appointments is because she is so busy and takes her time with each patient. Most of her patients are pregnant so unexpected things must arrive for her throughout each day.

She is a good, knowledgeable family doctor and obgyn. I felt safe in my pregnancy with her. She cares about safety of her patients.
Some people don't like that there is waiting time but it is because she has to go back and forth between clinic and maternity ward in the hospital. Her patients are pregnant and can deliver anytime. When you come to maternity ward to deliver she will make you her priority.

My experience with dr Macleod started off well and then went downhill right before and after my baby was born. She wasn’t at my delivery and I got the back up’s back up as coverage.. my labour was traumatic and they used unnecessary force to get my daughter out and caused me to require 40+ stitches. Post birth was tough to get appointments and the wait times were 1 hour + (very difficult with a new born). Apparently I missed a couple appointments (that I didn’t schedule) and she basically fired me as a patient.. no warning. I called one day to make an appointment and the staff said she no longer was going to see me/my daughter as
we hadn’t made a few former appointments. Nothing I could do, they just discarded me and my daughter. Horrible treatment and lack of empathy or compassion.

When I began my pregnancy journey, I knew I wanted a doctor who would be consistently there following my pregnancy in its entirety, who I could rely on to be there in as intimate a moment as delivering my baby, and who I felt supported by physically and emotionally. Doctor McLeod turned out to be this and so much more! Dr McLeod is an amazing physician and I was incredibly lucky to have been accepted into her practice as my doctor during my pregnancy! Dr McLeod is actively engaged in her field, always busy delivering babies and looking after moms! Her kind, caring and patient practice made me as a mom-to-be (now mom) feel safe and secure under her care. Not only did I know Dr McLeod would answer any and all of my questions, I also knew that she would be the one there at any hour, day or night, delivering my baby (and she was, at 4:14am!). I never minded waiting for my appointment or reschedule for another day because I knew the same care and attention would be shown to me and my baby when it was my turn for an appointment or in labour and delivery. My pregnancy journey was incredibly special because of her. I can’t wait to have another baby, hopefully under her care too!

Dr mcleod is my family doctor from 1 year and she took a great care of me during my pregnancy. She has always guided me very nicely about my each and every concern during my pregnancy, during delivery postpartum and even when i go for my baby visit. I can completely understand about her situation she has to rush to the hospital in between her appointments as well due to emergency delivery and labor due to which have to wait but that i believe is completely understandable situation. But otherwise her staff and everyone is really good and quite helpful.

Dr Heather McLeod has been my family dr for 6 years now and had helped deliver my girls. Although wait times can be long, I know it’s because she takes her time answering questions and squeezing everyone in. She is a caring Dr who was not dismissive and really listens to my problems and questions. We moved to Langley and still drive here to see her. I could never find a better Dr to have.

I am very frustrated and disappointed with Dr. McLeod's patient care and advice. She has not provided me with accurate information for NIPT, resulting in me incurring unnecessary costs. She recommended I go to PCRM for JUST the 12 ultrasound, a service they have not provided in 2+ years, resulting in delays or additional costs. When I've called the clinic or clarification, I cannot get a response. Dr. McLeod is consistently more than an hour late for appointment. I feel very disrespected as a patient.

Dr. Heather McLeod is my family doctor for the last 7 years. She has helped me safely deliver my first daughter and is currently taking care about my second pregnancy. Even though the waiting times for the appointment can take longer than expected, but it is worth the wait. Dr. McLeod is always taking her time to happily educate and supply materials and answer questions during my appointments. I am very happy to be her patient and cannot thank her more for the professionalism and positive altitude.
