The person picking up answered the phone "Doctor's office!" The office has no computers, does all paperwork on paper, and several forms were xerox copies of handwritten sheets. They do not accept credit cards. The doctor fixated on the fact that I have been on a prescription antidepressant for some time. He asked if I was seeing a psychiatrist and I said no; I had in the past, but several providers had determined that my issues were primarily chemical. Dr. Lee insisted I see a psychiatrist, and wrote a referral which asked the psychiatrist to "help" me and try to get me to "taper off" the medication. This strikes me as bias against mental illness. The main reason I was seeing Lee was to get a referral for a dermatologist due to a mole I was concerned about. He gave me one, and a list of providers, and said to call one and make an appointment. I did so -- and when I arrived there, I had to wait while they called Dr. Lee's office because the dermatologist's name was not on the referral.

By far the best physician I have ever had. He had very good bed-side manner and made sure I understood my instructions and my condition. In addition, he seems to take on patients of any ethnicity, social status, creed. In our waiting room there was an old Korean lady, a young hispanic woman, a middle-aged black man, and myself. He does not discriminate and it seems that he has patients for decades. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to having him be my family doctor from now on.
