The doctor was our doctor back in 1978, 1980, and 1982 when our 3 boys were born - the last 2 at home with his midwife. We then moved out of province. He was great! Hope you get to read this Dr. Ben. Kim and Gary Robb say Hello also. I did send you a letter last year and hoped you liked seeing it.

Your appointment will always start 30 minutes later than it is supposed to and run between 30 minutes to an hour longer than it should. He is kind and charismatic but often makes jokes that are inappropriate. Example, I had gone in for back pain to get my MRI results and he made jokes about it must put a damper on my sex life because I cant lay on my back. He is knowledgeable about basic care but anything beyond a common issue, I dont feel comfortable talking with him.

Refused to refer me to a Neuro-specialist after I had a major concussion from a motor vehicle accident resulting in amnesia. Refused to refer me to a female doctor for a papsmear; insisting he do it himself as it was "less fuss". I have an anxiety disorder and PTSD; he refused to provide me with much needed medications for that despite my thoughts of suicide. Keep yourself safe. Don't see him.

Dr. Toane is a wonderful doctor. He does run a bit late but I would rather wait a little longer to see a doctor who will take the time that is needed to properly assess and address any concerns. Cruiser always puts a big smile on my face as well!

He violated my doctor/patient confidentiality with disastrous effect in my personal life. The cause of my physical impairment was beyond his understanding, he listened to and sympathized with my manipulative childhood abusers, and determined that I was the problem. He prescribed inappropriate masking drugs that an internist took me off of immediately. He also taught me a lot about holistic medicine, and that I'm grateful for. He speaks out of school.

Dr. Ben Has been my doctor since I was a baby and I am now 31. He is very thoughtful and considerate and will spend as much time with you as you need. He always offers alternative forms of medicine and he tries to offer less expensive options when you have to pay for something. He is great.

I love Dr. Ben. He has been my doctor since I was a baby, I feel very comfortable with him and I always appreciate his alternative methods to that of western medicine, it makes me feel like I'm taking care of me too. Sure he's always late, but that's okay he takes the time when he sees you. And I love Cruiser.

Ben has been my doctor for over 25 years and I have always appreciated his open, caring nature. He is almost never on time but that is because he doesn't rush through appointments ( you get used to it when you are the one he is spending 30 minutes with when you were only scheduled for a 15-minute appointment). Cynthia, his current office manager/receptionist, is professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
