Skilled and friendly. I have been going to him since my former doctor retired over 15 years ago. He has been helpful and tries to resolve my health concerns. I have had to speak to him about several sensitive topics and he has always been open and listens intently to help resolve issues.

Dr Turner was a successor to the MD my family v had been with since arriving in Edmonton 1995 Dr Bell was the chap. Being an addict in high school made me want to leave him reason I said was uncomfortable with how the family is a standard topic when my mother would discuss me with him always starts out innocent but I did feel that I had to have my mother know my issues then him asking about them so on so on... I just wanted to be free to have no worry when I was being a con man in order to hide hitting 5 MDs in a 12km radius for over 3200 pills of whatever I went in for literally 98% success rate of creating a miserable side way to have as backup only to grow up and realize how rare it is to find a great family md to rely on when you need the extra mile not these new clinics that pop up every month north side especially who I've been seeing last3years and its like a visit to a drug dealer where he says what can I do for you today and you list your "necessary meds refilling then he types out a script for speed, valium, muscle relaxers, super strong hypnotic aka sleeping pills*what I would get myself a 23year old healthy young man who is requesting everything in the book except oxycontin but they can't Justify that so.* and no reactive questions or concerns " I had 100% benefits and these doctors were just as impacting or even more than street drug dealers without a pad and PhD to justify giving me dope and after a while it's just as though it becomes a safe accepted way to ensure they get the cash for my monthly drug meet* this got me really upset I apologize for not staying on topic to main story of I was free of Turner but after when I was so frustrated with the quality here I begged him to take me back and no way no how even aftergetting clean but I respect his boundaries and moral is if you can get a doctor that runs on a usual expected routine as in asking for your meds history and providing a physical with blood work and thorough exam with time to also listen to whatever your needs are,

I first met Dr. Turner when he was in the military Reserves in the Canadian military, while he /I were both posted to CFB Edmonton (and he was my military Doctor). After I was medically released from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), it was very hard to find a civilian Doctor, until I again met up with him on civilian street. Though he could not take me on at his private clinic (as he was way full), he did arrange for me to see him at his teaching clinic, and has been my GP since then. He has a very friendly manner, always gives it to me straight, is compassionate, is always willing to help me out, and is always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. I will really miss him, whenever he retires.

I saw this dr for about 10y and he never once was any help! I'm ashamed I tolerated it. I have many health problems but he had no interest in learning what could be causing them... he just told me "Wait and see how it is in a while", or tried to give me antidepressants (because I'm tired a lot & he's resistant to the idea that something physical could be wrong). It is hard finding a decent dr who is accepting new patients so for FAR too long I tolerated Dr Turner wasting my time and letting my health worsen. I occasionally researched my symptoms online & brought him a couple ideas to try to get him interested in doing some tests, or at least refer me to someone who might be helpful, but he would just sneer at me, as though he was offended I was trying to self diagnose. Well, SOMEONE has to diagnose me... I'd rather it was my GP, but he wouldn't! I have come to this site to try to find a GP who will actually improve my health.

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about Dr. Turner. He's been my doctor for 10 years or so, but I only saw him a few times right up until 5 months ago when I fell pregnant. Suddenly, I was seeing him every 2 weeks. After my first consultation with him as soon as we left my boyfriend said "He's such a nice guy. I wish he was my doctor." He's been a great part of my pregnancy and when it came time that I start to see an obstetrician he recommended me to a great one. If there's one thing Dr. Turner has going for him that makes him one of the best in his field it's that he will always be straight with you, but he will never try to scare you. He will acknowledge that smoking, being overweight, etc. is bad and tell you what's best but he won't use scare tactics and grim statistics to do it and never once has he been condescending to me. Fantastic doctor, I'm very lucky to be his patient.

What a compassionate professional. He was my father's doctor, and during his terminal fight with cancer, Dr. TURNER went out of his way many times in so many ways. My family thinks of him often around the holidays. I am very lucky he was willing to take me on as a patient.

Dr. Turner is an amazing doctor. One of the greatest qualities that my wife and I have encountered with him, is that he isn't a doctor that likes to push pills on his patient, and I find that truly rare in this day and age. We are very happy with him being our doctor.

Dr. Turner is an amazing doctor, I love it when clients ask what he is like before they meet him for the first time, I always have great things to say about him. His clients are VERY luck to have a doctor like him. He is as pleasant to his clients as he is to his staff, i should know ;) The field needs more people like him.
