Dr. Zohur is the best doctor I have ever had. I actually look forward to going to the appointments now. I use to cancel at other offices just to avoid them. He is very detailed and always concerned about me as a whole person. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor. I have sent a few friends to him and they like him too.

Dr. Zohur is always courteous and kind. He is very thorough. I have never had any problems that have been mentioned in the other reviews and have been seeing him for about 10 Years.

Tends to be quick to dismiss my concerns, office doesn't follow thru on sharing info with my other doctors. Badly needs an office manager to shape up staff. Kept information about 2 conditions that showed up scans from me for two years.

I changed to Dr. Zohur in 2006 on the advice of a PA friend of mine after my previous GP refused 3 years in a row to prescribe a smoking cessation med because he "knew I was strong enough to quit without meds." I now drive 45 minutes to Lewiston for any appointments - when you find a doctor who is solid, the drive won't be a problem. I have found that Zohur is personable, asks pertinent questions, asks if I have questions or concerns, and then he listens and responds. I have no reason to believe that he lacks knowledge in his professional area. With regard to the office employees, I believe he shares the outer office staff with at least one other physician, and it is a rather busy office. The appointment person at the window has been unnecessarily rude, but I've had nothing but positive experiences with the direct care staff. After reading these reviews, I'll make mention of any untoward behavior I'm confronted with to Dr. Zohur to give him an opportunity to address the issue.

His staff was the absolute worst. Very rude and incompetant. They make you feel as if you are worth their time. As a doctor, I think he is as good as anybody else, but his lack of concern for his patients shows. I quit going to him after he very reluctantly removed stiches from my head that were put in at an emergency room. He accidently left a stitch in place that I later discovered. Everyone makes mistakes, but when you make it obvious you don't want to do a job and then screw it up that's enough for me to look for a better doctor.

At first I thought Dr Zohur was actually a considerate and compassionate physician. I soon found out that he really cares only about the money. Every time I needed a script refilled I was told he wanted to see me in the office. That meant a co-pay with EACH visit and payment from my insurance company, even thought nothing had changed with my original on going problem. That went on for a while. When I became upset and demanded to know why, within two days I recieved a letter from him stating that he no longer wanted me as a patient. God only knows what that receptionist told him that I said for him to do this to me. He did not even call me to ask what the problem was. or even offer to refer me to another physician! Just like that, No Doctor! Is that the way to treat people? I will tell everyone how they treated me. He even once made me go have tests at another facility with a temperature of 104.2 degrees! 3 days later I as in the Hospital!! I do not recommend him to anyone anymore.

Very helpful doctor. I like him a lot and feel like he's one of the best I've had. Looks out for my health issues, suggests ways to stay healthy, follows up on past issues. Asks questions about how things are going, etc.

This is a fine Doctor, unfortunatly you have to deal with a very rude, impatient and sometimes mocking you staff! You get put on hold for very long periods of time and sometimes forgotton. One lady at reception doesn't ever get her facts straight and mishandles information back and forth to the nurses. I end up so frustrated trying to explain the situation over and over. Its really quite sad , because we really like Dr.Zohur...but he has a staff we always dread calling and dealing with. As far as the Doctor's knowledge and helpfulness he is awesome. I wish only that he could rehire a more proffessional, helpful, sympathetic and prompt efficient staff. For that reason alone I would not recomend this office. My Father is termially ill, and this journey could be made easier if the staff were more co-opperative. I really don't want any one else to go through this.

Zohur is the worst physician it's been my misfortune to deal with during a long lifetime. In a region of the nation, sad to say, served by a disproportionately high percentage of mediocre-to-poor medical doctors, Zohur is surely near the bottom of the barrel. The fellow violates just about every guideline for patients in those numerous "what to look for and expect from your primary doctor" advice columns and lectures. In terms of specifics:(1)He doesn't ever ask patient if he/she has any questions; (2) He barely discusses diagnoses and/or prognoses with patients; (3) He doesn't tell patient what if anything he is planning in the way of prescriptions (when session is over, Zohur rushes out of the examination cubicle, and tells his nurse to now deal with the patient ... and often that nurse either fails to grasp all Zohur told her to do, or errs in dosage instructions, or forgets to transmit Rxs to pharmacy (as she said she would do). -- As said, my worst medical experiences ever.
