I was born in 1970 and Dr. Wilkes delivered me, days before specializations. He has been my family Dr since and will be until he retires (please don't retire!)I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I remember he also coached my brothers hockey team one season. Dr. Wilkes has been a lifeline for my mother who was diagnosed with MS in 2004. He suspected MS within 10 minutes of talking to her and referred her to a neurologist immediately, he MS was confirmed a month later. This man needs no fancy technology to know the signs of common illnesses. He should write a book, maybe a "Family Physician for Dummies".

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Wilkes!!!! My doctor for approx. 12 yrs now and my husbands for far longer. He is attentive, caring and knowledgeable! Despite the years in practice, totally up to date with current procedures etc...not a pill pusher but a problem solver! And refers you to only the best doctors! I absolutely dread the day the big R approaches for this wonderful doctor...he can never be replaced!

My husband and I had Dr. Wilkes back in the 70's when we lived in Aurora. We moved back to Leamington and we've never had another Dr. like him. I had a serious illness back then and he called me and my husband at home to check on me even after I had been referred to the specialist. He's one of the best and those of you who still have him are very fortunate. I've had three Dr.s since we left Aurora and only one was any good and she left town.

Dr Wilkes has been our family doctor for over 34 years. He is the best at making you feel you are important and that is why the waiting time sometimes carries on for a bit. If you need 2 minutes you get it. Same if you need 15 so whatever your illness you won't get a better care or a nicer guy . we live in Orillia and still drive down to Aurora to see the best doctor this side of the grass. What I like best about Dr. Wilkes is if he thinks you need to have something checked out he sends you to that kind of a doctor he dose not do the guessing game this Dr. should be teaching the new ones coming up just how to be the best and he still dose house calls in 2007 that is unheard of. Way to go Dr. Wilkes,

He has been my family doctor for over 27 years and before that he had been my ex-husbands family doctor. He now looks after all of my grandchildren and I will be lost without him when he retires and hopefully that isn't too soon!

Dr Wilkes you are the best doctor i have ever had.You were so helpful & caring when my husband was ill.You were there for me after his death and you still are.I would never think of changing doctors unless i had to.You are the best.

I have known Dr. Wilkes for 29 years. He birthed my daughter and has taken care of me ever since. A great guy, very friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Dr. W, thanks for all your help over the years. SB

I couldn't agree more with the first comment in this field... This has been my family doctor for my 32 years on this planet, & I wouldn't even think of changing practitioners.... A1.... Keep up the good work!!
