I have seen Dr. Yerg for many years. He is kind, caring and knowledgeable, and does excellent follow-up. It has been a long time since I have visited a doctor who actually called you immediately after tests results come back, even at night after office hours, and explained everything thoroughly--instead of requiring you to track down the results or leaving an unhelpful message on your voice mail. And every time I have needed an emergency appointment, he was very helpful. Plus, all of the specialists he has referred me to have been excellent.

His office staff are too unprofessional. They are too comfortable with patients that they forget to apologise and at least acknowledge that patients are waiting over an hour to see the Dr. Doctor yerg is knoledgeable but as much as we all work for money, Doctors should show a little concern and not be all about money. Just recently, he has joined this MDVIP thing and you have to pay a fee yearly to remain a patient. I wonder does he care about the patients that cant afford it like the retired? If this office wants to do this fine, but their services is totally NOT worth this amount of money. Keep looking readers, there are better practices and Doctors in this area. As a nurse myself, I will not dare recommend anyone to gamble with their health.

I am scheduled for my 2nd visit with Dr. Yerg tomorrow, 7/27/10. My first was 2 weeks ago. Received referral from Cleveland Park list-serv. Asked numerous questions of his staff and of the physician. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and thoroughness of my exam. My previous pulmonologist did not explore other medication protocols with me and I knew I was being overly medicated with my inhaler. Thanks to Dr. Yerg, I am feeling so much better. He really listened. Yes, I did wait for maybe 30 minutes, however, the time passed filling out my new patient paperwork. I had all the time I needed to review the questions I prepared in advance of my appointment.

If you work, this is not the kind of Doctor you want. You have to sit in the waiting room at least 45mins to an hour before they take you in to sit for another 30mins or so before Dr Yerg comes in to spend about 10mins at most, with you. Nurse always complains about how bad she is with drawing blood and surely, she always misses your veins. The staff walk about aimlessly. They charge you to mail anything to you. They never fax anything. You have to personally go in and pick up stuff. Stay away from this office. Very unprofessional

I cannot recommend DR Yerg, based on my experience. His partner,Dr Wiseman is great, but could not take me as his patient. In my opinion Dr Yerg does not go beyond doing the minimum. When it comes to to needing forms filled out he charges to do so!.He has been my physican for 4 years. Maybe not a bad doc,but not one I feel great about .Several of his staff are difficult to deal with & the office is shabby, small & stuffy.Altogether,a situation I find myself stuck with by my insurance policy.

Kind, caring and skilled. Doesn't rush - which why he is sometimes behind schedule as he will take time to listen to you. Always feel better after talking with him. As an RN and patient, my assment is that I am lucky to to be his patient.
