Dr. Herdel is awesome. I would've rated all excellent but all of his patients know he runs . Ibehind because he takes such good care of his patients. However the staff lets you call in to see how far behind he is so you know when to come in. Definitely worth the wait I absolutely trust him and feel so blessed to have our entire family under his care. Very kind, thoughtful, all med students should study with him! Thank you Dr. Herdel!!Staff helpful and friendly too.

Dr. Herdel was our doctor (my wife and I) for over 12 years. We have moved away from NSB and miss him both as our doctor and our friend. He is one of the most caring and competent physician we have ever had. It is true that we usually had to wait to see him, but he always spent as much time with us as both he and we needed. He did what ever was needed to insure that we had the best possible health care.

Terrible! Luckily his NP Melissa is knowledgeable and professional. I would have left the practice if not for her. The other PA is ok but abrasive and inexperienced.

To many issues to list. The PA Michelle is great, office staff horrible and after hours answering service worst I have ever dealt with. You will never see Herdel.

Dr. Herdel may be a good doctor but you do not get to see him, you see his PA most of the time. His office manager is uncaring and unprofessional. They do not followup with patients and do not refer out when needed. My mom had reported (to them) blood pressure over 200/170 twice and they changed her medicine over the phone, no followup recommended,no referral to cardiologist even though this lasted for over 2 months. She had a fall and they never did a followup x-ray after the one in the ER the day of her fall. It was discovered 2 months later that she had a pelvic fracture. The office manager was rude and refused to help her. She is 86 years old. If the manager decides you are too much trouble, she refuses to let any help be given. They should not be treating elderly patients . The y have no compassion, are rude and very unprofessional.

Fred will continue to be rated low for not being punctual. However, in this case that is a good thing. He takes all the time one needs to listen, explain, and talk to you as a friend more than as a doctor. He really does care!

He is a very caring doctor. He really cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. One never feels rushed. This causes his appointments to run very late, but all one has to do is call ahead. The staff will let you know the "real" time of your appointment.
