Based on her treatment towards me, I believe she is racist and needs to be removed from medical practice or any other job where she may interact with minorities. She was rude, dismissive, and did not care to hear my concerns. Please beware of this physician.

Dr. Ulan was my family physician for 20 years and was thorough, punctual, caring and knowledgeable. I was sad for myself when she left her practice but do happy for her new role. Hope she’s doing well.

I can't understand some of the poor reviews. I was so sad that she left her practice. She was the best family doctor I ever had. Hoping she returns some day.

Poor bedside manners . Was dismissive of my concerns . I hate to think my skin color had to do something with the way I was treated but I wonder!!!

I am glad Docto Ulan has retired. She put me on 350mg aspirin which has caused me issues till this day. She gave me a mega anti depressant as a sleeping pill. Thankfully a nurse friend of mine warned me about the many side effects and dangers of that drug. Clearly she was not concerned about my well being. She also wanted to put me on a $500.00 per month drug for brittle bones. I went to another doctor that said my bone mass was normal considering my age, weight, height etc at the time. I never went back to Doctor Ulan. I literally was reading a news article about a doctor that lost their license and I looked to see if it was her. It wasn't but, I looked because I thought it might be going by my own experiences with her.

unfortunately Dr. Ulan no longer practices family medicine. She resigned in August 2009 to take on a position with the college of physicians and surgeons
