After "interviewing" several physicians, I recently became a patient of Dr. Schlein. I was impressed with MDVIP and the benefits associated with being associated with them. However, after meeting with Dr. Schlein, I was impressed with him as a physician and a person. I happen to be a retired funeral director and have dealt with physicians for my entire professional career, which now spans over 51 years. Dr. Schlein is one of the best! Being his patient is the wisest move you could make!

When my parents initially started with Dr. Schlein many years ago, I felt that they were in the best of care. As of recently, I do not hold the same opinion. He seems to be all over the board with regard to diagnosing my mother's health problem. In addition, he has chosen a very different approach than MOST doctors would, given the same presentation of illness. I am concerned for my mother's health and I do not feel confident in Dr. Schlein's approach to her current medical case.

Kind, smart, empathetic and dedicated. You won't find a better doctor. He does what is ethically right. A true gift.

Always rated one of the top doctors in Florida for a reason and in the top 3 often--he's just the best. I had serious, life-threatening problems. He diagnoses illnesses correctly and treats properly. He's current on new procedures and meds. Probably over-dedicated to his patients. Always available. Makes time if you need to get in to see him. Knows best specialists when necessary. Supportive to family members too. I'd clone him if it was possible. If you're disabled or have long-term health problems that require a physican with up-to-date knowledge, want a physican with a commitment to his patients to get them healthly and happy (yes he takes it all on), then he's your guy. The only drawback, he's MDVIP and that means, you have to join MDVIP which comes with a price. However, it also means that he doesn't schedule his patients like a hairdresser. Do most patients know that their doctors schedule patients every 15 minutes like a hairdresser? Some 2 or 3 at the same time?

I could never ask for a more caring or compassionate physian. He truly DOES care what happens to his patients! I would never hesitate one second to recommend Dr. Schlein to anyone.
