Dr. Christian Sirois performed lung surgery on me in November 2016. He is a Very kind,compassionate, totally thorough knowledgeable Doctor who has been a Blessing for me 😇.
He is a caring doctor who constantly runs and works Very Hard to keep a close eye on his patients !! 😄

Dr. Christian Sirois is the best! Even though he is extemely busy, he still takes the time to explain all the details and after he has spoken he answers all your questions. He took very good care of my sister in his office and at the hospital. Came to see her each day after surgery. I give him 5 stars for sure!

J'ai été opérée par le de Sirois à l'hôpital Juif de Montréal pour une bullectomie et pleurodesie. L'opération fut un succsès et la récupérarion se passe plutôt bien. Ma recommandation: laissez-vous opéré par le dr Sirois! Il est vraiment le meilleur. Laissez de côté les commentaires sur la nature humaine du dr(personnellement je n'ai eu aucun problème avec le dr) et faites lui confiance. L'attente est asse longue et il est extrêmement occupé mais ses compétences chirurugicales sont les meilleures.

Dr. Sirois m'a opéré le 17-15-2016 pour une pleurodese. L'opération fut un grand succès. Le MD est vraiment professionnel, connaissant et il est évident qu'il est génie dans son domaine. Cependant, le MD est très très occupé donc il est difficile d'avoir rendez-vous ou bien que celui passe à la chambre. C'est le prix a payer, si on peut dire, pour avoir accès un un si bon chirurgien. Pour ce qui est des interactions avec les gens je pense qu'il faut comprendre que le MD est dans une bulle alors lorsqu'il veut parler il faut le laisser parler . Il répète souvent les informations pour être sûr qu'on comprenne bien. Ma suggestion: ne pas l'interrompre et préparer ses questions sur un bout de papier et les poser à la fin de son laïus. Si vous avez une chirurgie avec lui, vous êtes entre de bonnes mains, je vous le garanti.

Just had a surgery (pleurodesis) with him on 17-05-2016. He's a very good Dr, professional and very skillful, a master in his field. The procedure was a success and I am in recovery already. His staff at the JGH is incredible, patient and attentive. Would definitely recommend a surgery there. The downfall? : his punctuality, he's a very very busy doctor so it's possible that rdv are delayed and that you see him a very few times during your hospital stay. I could say, it's the price to pay to have a surgery by a very good dr. As for people skills, like I said, he's a genius so let him speak his word without interruptions or he might forget something. My suggestion is to let him speak and have a question sheet prepared and ask them at the end. Have a nice surgery, you're in good hands.

Le docteur est extrêmement occupé donc l'attente peut être très longue.Il peut être très bien mais aussi très enervé et que le rendez-vous ne se passe pas bien.
Parfois il est très patient, d'autres fois il ne veut rien savoir.
Long temps d'attente pour les chirurgies

Isn't it right to ask this Dr about my health issues after I passed different tests? I don't know if I have lung cancer or a metastasis of cancer to the uterus. I had many questions and when I started asking he got upset and told me he knew what he was doing and if I wanted, he was going to send the request for a surgery otherwise, I had to find another Dr. I insisted I needed more details and then he would yell at me and said he had no time but many patients waiting for him and that I was lucky i got to see him that day. How can somebody like him be working with people who are dealing with serious health issues besides emotions? He just made me feel like the next sheep in line. I walked out of his office in tears. He is so inhumane.

2 years back I had a pneumothorax and he was the surgeon that did the surgery... He is good but so so busy... Yu really need to be patien with him because at the end he get the job done!!! He did my follow up for a year after my sugery . Even though it was a long recovery for me .... I can only say a BIg thank you to him...!!
