Excellent experience with Dr Atoui. He called me few times to see how i am doing since the waitlist was long. Big day arrived. Had my aortic valve fixed and 2 bypasses. I was home after 4 days and feeling great! Everyone speaks very highly of him- Sudbury is very lucky to have him. Eternally grateful

Met him 6months ago when we were all stressed with my father,s new diagnosis. He was very clear and explained to us in simple terms what is going on and the options available. His case was tricky because the arteries were very small. My father wanted to go ahead because of the constant chest pain that he was experiencing everyday. Dr ATOUI managed to bypass 4 arteries and my father did very well. He continues to do well, he is in much better spirits and walks 2 km every day! Thank you Dr for bringing our father back! We will be eternally grateful!

Fantastic surgeon who did my 4 bypasses. You feel right away at ease despite the huge upcoming stress of the surgery. He follows you daily very closely. I felt like a new man when i left the hospital :) his team in the icu is great as well. Very helpful secretary! Cant thank him enough!

All 5/5 without hesitation. Did repair my valve when I was quite sick. Coudn't catch a my breath after walking less than 1 block. I am now able to walk every day 5 kms with no issues. My cardiologist was very happy with the repair results. I call him my super-hero! Excellent bed side manners and made me feel safe despite the surgery. Sudbury is lucky to have him!

Great doctor, great surgeon, great person! Everyone likes him. His wait list is loong but definitely worth the wait to get operated on. Had my valve fixed with 2 bypasses and i am feeling extremely well! Im back to work after 2 months. Would recommend without hesitation ! Thank you !!

Amazing surgeon, answered all my questions. I was very worried about my husband especially when another surgeon refused his case. Told us his arteries were too blocked.. Dr. P asked dr. Atoui for another opinion. He did tell us it was riskier than average but was willing to operate because of no other options.. my husband did very well and is now home for 3 wks- recovering very well and i see clear progress every day. thank u!!!

Very busy doctor but extremely competent and highly professional. My cardiologist called him directly because he thought that my arteries had calcium all the way down and told me he would be the only one willing to take my case. Explained to me everything and took all the time needed to answer my questions. Everything went very well and i have been recovering at home for the last month and even started physiotherapy. Would absolutely recommend him !

Cant say enough how incredibly lucky we are when my dad was assigned to him. He is not only a great surgeon, but a very nice and knowledgeable person, who immediately makes you feel at ease despite the pending big surgery. He has excellent bed side manners and continued to follow my father on a daily basis until he was discharged home. I highly highly recommend him! he will always be our superhero!

Insisted in getting this surgeon. He was not on call but my cardiologist called him and he agreed to see me the same afternoon. My brother in law was also operated by him 4 years ago and kept saying great things about him. Great person indeed and for sure a great surgeon. Icu nurse kept saying that i was lucky to have him. Was home after 4 days and i am now back to work as a new person! My chest pain has completely disappeared and i feel like a 30 y old! Thank you!!
