Dr Barbaer told my husband in third world countries they take only aspirin for pain. My husbands arm was crushed. In a work related accident. Very bad bedside manner..

Dr. Barber gave me total knee replacement years ago. The knee has been painful ever since, with little help from him. I have met people who have suffered much more, however. Kaiser has settled claims on his behalf. If you have a choice, don't go to this doctor.

Dr.Barber has the finest staff and he is the absolute best at what he does.My husband had hip replaced at Oakland Kaiser,and it was top notch care.Dr.Barber knows his stuff and is trustworthy.

Dr. Barber is probably one of the best hip replacement surgeons in Northern California. Highly qualified, very easy to talk to, and extremely well informed. I had both hips done in the last three years, and just started skiing again. I'm in my 60's. He gave me my life back!
