I had to have a different surgeon help me find a solution that Dr. Bini should have helped with. After many attempts to get things right with the surgeries, another doctor seemed to fix my hip. He's very, very nice and seems to desire to help yet he ignored a very evident problem that anyone looking at me could see. It was also disappointing that he acted as if I should consider not having a hip rather than fixing it. Not sure why he couldn't get things to work after many attempts yet one surgery done by another doctor took care of the problem.

I am a 61 year retired construction worker. I put off my double knee replacement for a year and a half and now I wish I would have had it done it earlier. I chose Dr. Bini and UCSF after doing some research and knew I made the right choice after the first appointment. Every aspect of the procedure and step along the way was a positive and extremely professional experience. Dr. Bini was through, knowledgeable and considered all options before recommending surgery. After the surgery the UCSF care team could not have been more responsive, caring and competent. I believe Dr. Bini is a Great surgeon by my experience and recovery time, is a overall good guy and recommend him for knee diagnosis and replacement emphatically. A+++

If Dr Bini is "anything' it's NOT "impatient" .... this is a highly skilled (one of the best ortho surgeons in California) and extremely personable doctors. Redwood City patients used to love him when he was there, and he still comes occasionally to do REVISIONS. If you get Dr Bini, consider yourself among the lucky ones.
