I had a twenty minute wait but once I saw Dr Mazur I had his full attention. The guy is smart. He answered questions from knowledge and experience. I feel comfortable scheduling hand surgery with him.

Please ReadThis! Dr Mazur is one of the best "Hand Doctors" in Northern Ca, so getting an appt. was a bit of a hassle, but the second time I called I connected w/ someone who not only got me an appt. just a month or so later, but was able to wave a $350 cash fee that had been mistakenly put in place... GREAT! The start of the visit, however, was very, very scattered, as when I checked in no one gave me the usual stack of patient info papers to fill out... so after about 45 min. of sitting around a lady took notice and got things rolling... long story short, after waiting longer than liked, to put it mildly, new x-rays were taken (they had misplaced the old ones I brought in, but that was OK because new ones were probably needed), and a bit later Dr Mazur came in... so why the 5 Star rating after all of the above hassles??? Because he is "hands down" the best!! I had seen him before years ago and knew he would be very through, as he was, but this was a 2nd opinion visit, the 1st opinion from a cross town Dr telling me I needed a SERIOUS surgery that would have put me out of commission w/ my right hand in a cast for 2 months, but DR Mazur's diagnosis being completely different... a shot of cortisone in an area that I tried to tell Dr #1 was the spot but he wanted to do the afore mentioned surgery where he wanted to, a different spot, and if he was wrong, well "We can go back in and fix it later" Anyway, this is the next day, and the 1st time I have been close to pain free in years... Dr Mazur told me I would be sore for a day or two because of his exam, but even adding that in I'm STOKED. If you need your hand fixed by a magician, see Dr Kai Mazur.

Expect to wait an hour or more, even in the early morning. This indicates a general lack of respect for the patients he sees.

I had been in a fight with work comp. concerning my diagnosis for 4yrs. when I met Dr. Mazur. He fought for me, wrote them letters, & diagnosed me. I had 2 different surgeries with fantastic results. He is compassionate, intelligent, & a patient advocate. I could not be more thankful. I don't know where I would be without his help. He is amazing.
