Dr. Jones talked me into a multi-level fusion. My situation was a difficult one indeed. He seemed capable, came recommended by friends who "heard" of him but none whom he actually operated on. My first mistake, ALWAYS get a second opinion from OUTSIDE of Redding.
Don't get me wrong, if you're having a simple single disk procedure then I believe Dr. Jone would do a great job. However, if you're having to have a multiple level surgery done by Dr. Jones then I would recommend you go to U.C.S.F, U.C. Davis, Or even Spine Care where Joe Montana went. They have first hand knowledge of Dr. Jones' lack of technical abilities when it comes to Multi-level disk issues. They have seen several of Dr. Jones' and other Redding area Orthopedic Surgeons examples of ineptness. I met 2 from Redding on my first appointment in the Bay Area and a 3rd one later, 2 of which were from Dr. Jones' attempts at multi-level repairs. And I'm sure I'll meet more, especially if you do not take my advice.

Just PRAY you don't need any pain medication. You get to play the "i didnt get it" game with Linsey. They showed ZERO worry as they made my wife wait for over a week only to then blame another doctor. If you value your families well being, dont go here. The doc may be good, but the staff SUCKS
