Was sent to Dr Tchou by my neurologist for epidurals to help with sciatic back pain. Dr Tchou started me on steroid injections and also agreed to treat my chronic pain related to birth defects/permanent nerve damage. Tried to talk to his assistant about meds am already taking so he could take over my treatment and she said I shouldn't talk to the doctor about the meds becuse he would think I was trying to negotiate with him and would get upset. I did attempt to discuss my treatment with him and was still talking when he walked out while I was in mid sentance. Will not be going back to him. Have not had any relief from my pain from the injections. Also had a very diffecult time understanding him due to the language barrier.

I could barely walk and was using a cane. I was in severe pain in my lower back and right leg. Dr. Tchou treated me twice a month for several months and I am now 95%. I did not expect to ever feel this good again. I am 68 and recommend him highly. He has a wonderful manner about him and is truthful and honest about what he can do for you. I gladly give him and his staff the highest ratings. They are all very caring and helpful people.

I was referred to Dr.Tchou by my primary care physician for treatment of myofascial/fibromyalgia pain by trigger point injection. He suggested to give me epidural steroid injections. I refused due to my allergy to steroids and asked if trigger point injections could be used as treatment since it was what I was originally referred to him for. Dr. Chou in the presence of two witnesses stated that he would not give me these injections since he was never trained to perform them. He discharged me since he stated that there is nothing he can do to treat me. Later on I was surprised to find trigger point injections to be on the list of the treatment that was offered at his clinic by reading the brochure available at his clinic. Dr. Tchou insisted on performing a risky and medically unnecessary procedure while willfully misleading me about what procedures are available at his clinic and finally denying me his services.
