I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Schenkman as my doctor. He is conscientious about my overall health and not just my mental health. I am grateful to Dr. Schenkman for his help that has enabled me to feel comfortable in my own skin.

This guy was an idiot. I went to him once and swore I would never go back. My GP recommended him and I went right back to my GP and told him also that I thought the guy was an idiot. Dr. Schenkman didn't care what I had to say, had totally off the wall ideas of my issues, and was rude. Just a real jerk. A current co-worker went to see him and came back to tell me about this jerk of a Psychiatrist she had seen the day before. When she said his name I couldn't believe it! If she had mentioned the appt. earlier, I would have warned her. Nonetheless, he belittled both my co-worker and her husband. She too said she'd never go back. And hasn't.
