I was a patient of this doctor with a God complex for the past ten years. When he put me on meds he never explained why or even potential side effects. He was recommended by a psychologist I've known for decades. This doctor put me on a medication that is in the same family as two drugs he knew I was allergic to called Geodon. I now suffer from something called tardive dyskinesia which mimics the effects of Parkinson's disease. My neurologist said symptoms could stop but thorough internet research said it's permanent and meds for symptoms fail. Mendoza damaged me permanently but he never even apologized. He put me on an anxiety drug (a symptom I don't have) that can cause severe seizures if stopped abruptly. When asked why, he said with extreme arrogance I might have it in the future and was giving it preemptively. To even inquire seemed an affront to this doctor/God. Please don't make my mistake or you might end up the next victim. I really wish someone had warned me in time.

This doctor almost killed me. He prescribed medications that interacted together to put me in a stupor, shut down my stomach, caused gastro bleeding, etc. He insisted he was right and then diag me with a more severe illness, lied about another dr, and put wrong info in chart, I have severe medical problems once I detoxed from the meds he gave me, I have to go to a specialist to sort out what he screwed up. He will most certainly kill someone at some point. It took 6 months of hard core detoxing to get off the meds he prescribed and then I never fully recovered strength, because he fried my adrenal glands. I even had to have my esophugus stretched because of the constant spasms, that is better but not fully gone. He is not a competent doctor and the medical tests can show the damage he caused. He is arrogant and thinks he is GOD, which clearly he is not. If you use this doctor you take your life in your hands and give it over to egotistical maniac.

I've been going to him for years. He's always nice and does prescription therapy. Even though I go mostly for just refills he still takes an interest in how I'm doing personally.

So far I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Mendoza. He listens and is very caring and concerned. I have been able to get in to see him with a day's notice for non-emergencies.

like said above...he is unwilling to see any other perspective than his own, literally and figuativley. As far as diagnosis...this could be a precarious situation to be in.... because usually you want to make sure that whatever it is that the doctor assures you have.... that you actually have and are being treated for , --right?? that's not a lot to ask.?? It's also not a lot to ask for a damn second opinion into the possibility that an illness i have may in fact be named something else... and wouldnt a doctor want to get to the bottom of what the real problem was? or was he more concerned about appearing right in his initial diagnosis?wait... i got it... it was all about the money from the beginning...either that or he has little man syndrome...or both... bottom line... the current diagnosis you have or were given may in fact be mimiking something else...b sure you have what he says you have in other words!!!!!
