Over the decades, I've had several psychiatrists, so by now, I know what to expect. Dr. Nasatir is knowledgeable, keeps up on the literature, listens to me when I answer her questions, and she's easy to talk to. I never feel judged by her, and that's refreshing. I know I am responsible for doing my share of the work to stay healthy, and at each appointment, she asks me about the various aspects of my self-care. I have enjoyed several very stable years while under her care, and since my problem is bipolar type 2, stability means a LOT. She's easy to communicate with, and I really appreciate that she listens to me attentively when I talk. I've recommended her to friends because I know they'll get good care from her. She's a keeper!

Dr. Nasitir is a horrible doctor, she lacks compassion, acts hostile and cold, and get this: no eye contact. She was almost an hour late for the appointment.
She hovered over me with her cell phone and credit card swiper and would not answer my question of "how long will this appointment be" until she could swipe my card to pay for it. Imagine any one else demanding payment for a service without going over the details of time and cost first!
Absolutely horrible and rude. I would never recommend that anyone see this incompetent physician.

I hate to leave a glowing comment and then have issues getting appointments, but I'll do so anyway. Obviously, each patient's experience will be different depending on which issues they show up with.
In my experience with Dr. N over the past 5+ years , I have found her to be caring, empathetic, supportive and helpful. She has been willing to tweak my meds and diagnosis from prior doctors to get me to the point of normalcy.
I also find her assistant, Sara , to be an absolute joy.
The office is shared, and my brief interactions with the receptionists of the other Dr.s have shown them to be pleasant as well, the office itself is also clean and well decorated.
Again, this is only one patient's opinion/experience, but Dr. N is a class act.

I found Dr. Nasatir to be…well, not a very good doctor. I experienced consistently long waits in the waiting room before seeing her. When she finally did welcome me into her office, her first question was to ask for the co-pay. Okay, I understand this is how she makes her living, but it was off-putting. In fact, I feel as though Dr. Nasatir is really motivated more by money than by care. I always felt rushed during our appointments—which lasted only 15 minutes at a cost of $150 each session. There were times when I wanted to discuss something troubling me only to be interrupted with her chirping “Well, we’re out of time!” During our sessions, she was often distracted by her notes or computer while I spoke. She didn’t use consistent eye contact, and I never felt she was really invested in me as a patient or as a human being. I deserve better, and so do you.

Cold, Rude and just plain disrespectful! I was so shocked after the first visit and then by the time i had the 5th visit i was so upset and felt so left alone feeling like i had given my trust into her to help me and the entire time she was just abrupt and rude. She didn't ever care what I or my family member had to say. After a few visits when my mom would bring up something from the previous visits she would back peddle and go back on what she said. She really doesn't care and her assistant wasn't really any help either was just always very fake when it came to talking to her. Overall i Wish i didn't ever waste my time going to her!

Cold, abrupt, condescending, arrogant, and plain nasty. There is a reason why she is one of the very few psychiatrists frequently accepting new patients. She solicits good reviews from her own patients. She does not provide any cognitive therapy but is always happy to write more prescriptions. If lifelong medicated living is what you have in mind (pun intended) you won't be disappointed.

We found Dr. Nasatir to be very arrogant and very unhelpful. I wish that I would have not subjected my child to her as long as I did.

I would recommend Dr Nasatir to everyone that is genuinely looking to identify and work on their psychiatric issues. I spent two+ years going to Dr.s searching for one that actually listened and CARED. Dr. Nasatir, from our first session, has gotten me the right prescriptions and dosages to handle my illness. She is so kind and always gives me a full evaluation. But most of all she gives me such meaningful advice and resources to further my growth. Through her and the Psychologist she recommended I have never felt safer. I am leaps and bounds ahead, in such a short time, than I have been in the last 2-3 years, due to Dr. Nasatir. I consider myself BLESSED to have gotten her as my Dr.

I have to thank Dr. Nasatir for helping me feel as though I am getting my life back. I was with another psychiatry group for approximately 3 years while seeing 3 different doctors during that time, all of which left me feeling nothing but frustrated and hopeless. After finding Dr. Nasatir, what a life changing experience it has been. She determined that I had been basically misdiagnosed for the last few years. After making some medication and therapy changes, I have felt so much better. My wife has her husband back and my son has his father back. Dr. Nasatir has taken the time to ask the "right" questions, document everything during our sessions and provide great help at each session. Dr. Nasatir's assistant, Sarah, is absolutely amazing as well. Incredibly friendly, efficient, you name it. I would highly reccommend Dr. Nasatir and her office. I wish I had become a patient of hers sooner.

I was a patient of Dr. Nasatir and was very unhappy with her demeanor. She was cold and didn't make eye contact. All she did was take notes and never looked directly at me. She didn't help me at all. I never missed an appointment and was always on time, but one time I had to go out of town due to a medically emergency with my mother. I called Dr. Nasatir's office 24 hours in advance and let the receptionist know I wouldn't be able to make my appointment. Dr. Nasatir still charged me the late cancellation fee of $150 because I didn't give her the required 24 hour notice. Is that ridiculous or what! I called several times to ask her why she refused to waive the fee, but she never returned my call. Talk about a lack of compassion. I do not recommend Dr. Nasatir.

Biography

As a Physician, I chose the specialty of Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry because of my passionate commitment to improve the quality of life of my patients. In order to provide the best care possible, I am committed, first and foremost, to being an attentive listener, vital to understanding patients' needs and goals. My approach is research-based, community standard and holistic, in that I integrate nutrition, mindfulness and non-pharmaceutical modalities wherever appropriate. No single method will be the best doctor-patient fit for everyone. I do read all reviews and incorporate the feedback into my practice. Due to HIPAA privacy laws, I am unable to respond individually to each review. In response to the exaggerated, inflammatory feedback, Psychiatrists in my field have observed a distinct pattern: Some former patients are disgruntled primary due to one of three reasons; 1. They are seeking narcotics, habit forming drugs for inappropriate conditions and situations, 2. They seek a medical disability based on a psychiatric condition which either does not exist or is not severe enough to warrant it, 3. I honor my contract and send a statement for balance due (deductible and/or no show fees) and the patient refuses to pay. In short, my practice is thriving for a very simple reason: My respect for -and honesty with- my patients at all times. I am gratified that referrals from past patients constitutes the vast bulk of my practice. I appreciate all feedback, and will continue to provide the best, individualized psychiatric care possible to my patients.
