I likewise agree with the previous writer in stating that Dr. Formanek has proven to be very compassionate, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful of my time. My professional experience with this physician has been very positive and I am disappointed to see that a few disgruntle people choose to speak so disparagingly of his character. If someone choose to make Dr. Formanek part of their team to fight cancer they have the best.I have recieved some of the best care under this physicain's care and know of many who can say the same.

I read some of the other reviews on this so-called "ratings" (more like "rantings") site and could not believe what, more than likely, one disgruntled person had to say about Dr. Formanek. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have known Dr. Formanek in his professional capacity for years, and only know him to be one of the warmest, caring, non-arrogant, smartest physicians I have ever had the good fortune to meet. In a word, he is the best.

Very arrogant and rude. After going through heartbreaking suffering and despair my husband passed away---the way I feel about this doctor will live with me till the day I die. Run from him as fast as you can!!!!!

This is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. My husband had MM and this dr. is the partner of his dr. and this one very arragonant man. Not once but many times he totally ignored our questions and treated my husband like he was not even there, and the final straw to me was when he told me in a telephone conversation that it was probably his time to die anyway. He and his partner just run cancer patients through with no empathy or concern whatsoever for the patient.

Very, VERY arrogant. I had the displeasure of talking to him one evening when he was on call for his partner. I was calling about a reaction to a treatment earlier that afternoon. His response to my call was "What the hell do you want me to do about it?" He may be knowledgeable but he has a miserable personality.

Seems knowledgeable, in fact very smart, but you can't tell because he isn't listening to you. He is very arrogant and does not take the patients requests or needs in mind when doling out his "professional" opinion. Needs to remember that not only are we patients needing help, but we are the most in tune with our own bodies.
