Dr. Matt Finerman has been my ENT for 20 years and I'd never go to anybody else. He really cares about his patients, and takes the time to explain procedures and treatments, rather than rush you out the door. That means you might have to wait just a little longer than at cut-rate clinics where they rush you through, but it is worth a little longer wait time because he'll spend time treating you. He also takes most insurance. I really wish he could handle all of my healthcare needs!

I thought this guy was horrible. Worst bedside manner ever. He was totally uninterested in me as a person...couldn't care less about any problems I was having...I agree with the previous posters...horrible doctor. He may know his stuff but I felt humiliated and upset when I left his office. I am supposed to go back to him to have something taken out on Monday but will try to find another doctor first thing Monday morning!

Dr.Finerman has been my Dr. for a few years. However when I went to him for a medical emergency, ringing in the ears and noise and fullness he did not do a hearing test immediately and did not listen when I told him I was losing my hearing. He bascially told me to come back in 3 months and then tell him I was losing my hearing. But he did do a hearing test with his cell phone which I had trouble with. By the end of the 3rd week he finally did a real hearing test and found out that I had lost the hearing in my right ear and put me on steroids. I was told by that time I had lost the window of opportunity to get any if not all of the hearing back. He put me on steroids and told me not to call him if I had any problems with the medication but to call my internist. I found him arrogant, uncaring. This is not a Dr. I would refer to anyone.

I have a swallowing problem and my doctor told me to see an ENT. I went to see Finerman. He has a good bedside manner in general but didn't seem to listen to my symptoms as I described them: food getting caught in my throat. He said it was probably just irritation from acid reflux and told me to eat a diet that was specified on a piece of paper. I ate as specified, and returned for my second visit. Throat didn't look irritated but my swallowing irritation persisted. He sends me for an esophogram. I get a call from Finerman's office about the esophagram results, "Looks like motility problem. Go see a gastroenterologist". There was no explanation of anything. I called his office. His nurse Anna flatly refused to let me have a copy my own test results! She said she'll send them to my gastro Doc when I get one but not to me. Weeks later I called and left the fax number of the gastro Doc on her voicemail but she lost my message. I found this out when I called to follow up a week later.

My pulmonologist referred me to his ENT doctor Dr. Babajanian, but Dr. Babajanian does not take any insurance. So I asked my pulmonologist about Dr. Finerman at the same office as Dr. Babajanian as Dr. Finerman takes my insurance. He said Dr. Finerman is great. He was right. Dr. Finerman was very knowledgable and experienced. He worked very fast but thorough. He also seemed to know how to treat my other condition that I had for the past 5 years when my other 2 ENT doctors could not figure out. I'm going to talk to him some more about that when I go back for my followup appointment. In terms of the staff, they are just OK. They messed up on my appointment date and time and made it sound like it was me who remembered it wrong. There is only valet parking at the building. It's $9 for first 2 hours, and I paid $1 tip for the valet. Next time I will park at Century City mall and walk (6 minutes per Google map) to this office.
