***BEWARE*** Stay as far away from this office and Dr. as possible!!! His philosophy is "We're here for you" and I completely disagree. I highly suggest to ask your doctor for another referral if you get referred to this doctor. The staff Ashley and Aubrey are sloppy and rude. The doctor himself does not listen, does not ask you if you understand or have questions and does not want to hear you if you do make him listen to your questions. He spoke to my eight year old daughter directly the entire time and anytime I tried to ask a question he ignored me and then answered my daughter as though she asked the question. She's eight and doesn't understand surgery and he scared her. A mother having questions and concerns is reasonable and not to be ignored. Lastly , they were not accommodating to schedule the surgery. When asked if it could be scheduled a week and a half later I was told rudely to request a referral to see another doctor.

June 19, 2013. My appointment was at 3:45. I was asked to arrive 15 early and did. There was one other patient in the waiting room. At 4:40, after ONE HOUR AND TEN MINUTES, I was so upset that I finally left without being seen. Being made to wait this long, without even an explanation let alone an apology, is disrespectful, unprofessional and abusive. I am absolutely disgusted!

I didn't even reach the doctor--and, after reading this site's reviews, it's just as well. The receptionist treated me curtly and arrogantly (perhaps learned from the doctor himself), forgetting that I was paying for the visit ($1180 a month for insurance). After I asked the woman's name, I left, deciding to use another doctor in Lodi.

After suffering with a sinus infection for almost three weeks and consulting with two urgent care doctors in that span, my wife sought out Dr. Charles Johnson for further treatment. What she got instead was 15-minutes of an arrogant, condescending, taciturn doctor, totally devoid of any patient empathy, repeating over 20 times to "stop using Afrin nose spray" in a monotone, expressionless fashion. Initially, he offered no other advice, and only when prompted by our questions did he sparingly offer any additional recommendations. Stay away from this unpleasant doctor. He does not care to invest any time exploring a patient’s history in order to promote long term wellbeing.

My wife had to see this Dr because of the insurance guidelines Anthem. The dr was poor and my wife was very unhappy -lack of experiance. We got a proper diagnosis with another Dr and would not recommmend that entire office. After fighting about the payment I finally just paid them out of frustration. After they were paid off in full they sent it to a collection agency....mind you they were paid but continued with that action.Good thing my attorney was about ready to step in .Long story short what a mess they made and for us we escaped from that place........never again.

We called to have our hearing checked. The office failed to tell us they didn't actually check your hearing there. We had to make a 2nd appointment with another office and take an additional day off of work. Then we got our bill. My husband and I were in the exam room together. Dr Johnson checked my ears, my nose and my throat. He did the exact same exam on my husband. He gave me a script for itchy ears and gave my husband a script for acid stomach. My portion of the bill was about $18, my husbands portion was over $92. I called the office and was told my husband had 2 diagnosis. I complained and said I'd file a complaint and they said go ahead. That same evening at 10 to 6 the Doctor called me and said he had done us a favor because it cold be cancer!!! Who says something like that? I told him he should be ashamed of himself and hung up. Now I need to find out who to report him to.
