During my appointment, Dr Shermeraro did NOT examine me. I was seen by two young colleague or student doctors. I only saw Dr Shermetaro for a short time , perhaps 5 minutes. I clearly explained the reason for the appointment to all three. Since birth, I can only hear in one ear. That ear became plugged up after an illness, similar to the pressure one may encounter when descending in an airplane. This decreased my hearing in my good ear. The condition goes away when flying, shortly after becoming airborne, and returns shortly after landing. I was there to find out what might cause that and what might be done to correct it. During my short meeting with Dr Shermetaro, he showed NO interest in gaining any additional information, such as what other treatments I may have had, how long it stayed clear after a flight, etc., even though I tried to discuss it with him. He simply insisted on scheduling an audiogram. Subsequent to the audiogram, I received a short letter from him acknowledging that I could not hear in one ear and the other showed a significant loss of hearing. He offered to provide me with a hearing aid trial. Abosolutely NO mention of the condition for which I had sought his help. A couple final notes. I rated his helpfulness and knowledge low since he did not offer any diagnosis of my condition. He either didn’t care and/or didn’t know how to find out. I was billed an amount much larger then I expected, something I will appeal to my insurance company.

Dr. Shermetaro wanted to do a sinus surgery on me in one week even though I explained I currently had a sinus infection. I refused the surgery.

Havent seen more poorly coordinated office than this practice. They are just dishonest people who are trying to rip people of their money. Dr Sharmatero recommends unnessary procedures for his own financial gains. During my appointment, he didnt even examine me. I was examined by the student doctors-in training. No scripts were given to me but still I got astronomical bill. I had to call my insurance company to get the bill straight as they had billed me for a procedure they never actually did. Not at all recommended physician.

I had a tonsillectomy as an adult, 32 years old. They say its one of the worst surgeries especially as an adult, but honestly it wasn't too bad. I healed really quickly in about 10 days. It was done outpatient in the Surgical Center and the place was very clean friendly, surgery was very fast as well as recovery and honestly I have had no complaints. If I do I will come back and repost.

I had a frequently recuring sinus infection. I wanted to have it treated with long term antibiotics, Dr. S refused and wanted to do a surgery even though I explained that I did not want the surgery. I changed doctors and was treated with the long term antibiotics and the condition greatly improved.
