Myself and my kids ( now adults) all LOVE Dr. Silverman. She doesn't send you for a slew of unnecessary tests, instead she carefully listens and discerns the best course of action. I have never had to wait past my appt. time to be taken back. Her staff have gone out of the way to fit me in for appts and are always up to date on my different insurance requirements.

Dr. Silverman is there for her patients, even to the point of changing an airline reservation to wait for a lab result to come in.

I went as a new patient and new to the area. I was looking for a new PCP..I picked DR.Silverman.
My first visit was dealing with the front desk..they were VERY RUDE. I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM WAITING FOR MY 8:30 am appointment with no lights on. DR.Silverman. ..was not very helpful or compassionate. I WAS DEALING WITH DEPRESSION and left her office feeling worse. My next visit she took me into her office and told me that the front desk would give me a name to see a psychiatrist. The staff was just looking at me like I was a Freak. ....worst experience EVER..I have worked in the Medical field for 17 years and was so disappointed!

Dr. Silverman is awful!!! She began our 1st visit by making fun of me and my medical history. After that, she proceeded to tell me all of the medical issues she wouldn't help me with....it was a long list and made me feel like she would never be helpful to me..I'm talking about things like back pain. She said I would have to go to a specialist. Don't waste your time with this idiot.

I called this doctor in January to be sure she was accepting new patients - I was told yes, but that I could not make an appointment until I had a card with her name on it - I immediately made the change with my insurer, but had to wait for the change and card to be processed. Upon receipt, I called to make and appointment and was told she was no longer accepting new patients, despite the fact that I changed to this doctor as my PCP only after verifying she was accepting new patients. Now, with an injury, I have to wait until I find another doctor and that change in process, which takes about a month. This is not a patient centered decision and had I known it was a gamble to change I would not have.

Dr. Silverman is soooo smart and a great detective. For years my husband has been to doctor after doctor for an abdominal issue that no one has been able to solve. They ran tests on him that didn't show a single thing except that he is for the most part a healthy man. She is the only doctor who looked past the symptoms to find the reason which caused the symptoms. Between Dr. Silverman and Dr. Kim (gastroenterologist) they have figured out my husband had two different medical issues. As for my experience with her, I'm extremely healthy but she did recommended a great dermatologist (Dr. Best).
