I have never had a physician visit where the physician was so rude and curt. He entered the room made no eye contact and went directly to the computer. He gave me a diagnosis which I feel was accurate. There was zero explanation of my situation. He told me to google it!
I have been a nurse for 40 years and have met many physicians, have never felt compelled to write a review. I had to for Dr Gnoy I would never recommend him to anyone.

My daughter is a freshman in college and has been continuously sick for the past two months. Dr. Gnoy did a thorough examination and gave her a combination of antibiotics with some over the counter remedies which I thought were a very smart and rational way of fighting an infection...saline washes, mucinex etc. He is intelligent, witty and kind. Based on our experience we recommend him.

I recommend Dr. Gnoy very highly. I have seen many ENTs in the area and Dr. Gnoy is one of my favorites. He is extremely knowledgeable. Most importantly, he is interested in finding and curing the root cause, not just alleviating symptoms.
I first starting seeing him approximately 7 years ago. Unfortunately, my insurance changed and he was no longer available to me. I have seen many ENTs since then. Fortunately for me, he joined the Summit Medical Group and he is available to me again.
I would similarly recommend all of the doctors in this group with which I have had experience: Dr. Burstein, Dr. Cooper and Jaime Falvey (BSN, MSN, APN).

Good doctor but must be in it for the money IMHO as he will not assist in emergencies no matter how much the patient suffers. You must see him constantly to be treated in an emergency situation where simple solutions are available.

My son's adenoids were taken out, tubes were placed in his ears and we were told that he would grow into his tonsils. Fast forward 4 years and he was still having a hard time with apnea and breathing through his nose Dr.Gnoy noticed how my son was breathing when he entered the examination room and immediately stated that it was more than allergies. He examined him and concluded that the adenoids had grown back, the tonsils were too big and the tubes hadn't fallen out because they were design to stay in. He recommended surgery. 2 weeks later he performed the surgery. Side note(I've read several reviews stating that this Dr. didn't have a great bed side manner, but when we were in the operating room, my son was very nervous and in the process of getting him on the table his sock fell of and Dr.Gnoy took the time to put it back on for him. I was touched that he was concerned about the little things)He was serious but caring.10 days post surgery. My son is great! Love this Doc!!!!!

Dr. Gnoy was the worst doctor I have ever been to. He was very pompous and obnoxious. Dr. Gnoy was not helpful and was mad that I made an emergency appointment with him. I had strep throat 5 times since October and Dr. Gnoy told me that ENT doctors usually take out tonsils if the patient gets strep 7 times in a year. I had it 5 times since October which is ridiculous. When I went to see him and show him how swollen and red my throat was, he asked me why I was here and what was the difference since I saw him two weeks ago. He was extremely arrogant and did not make me feel comfortable. I would never recommend him. In fact, I would stay far away.

This guy solved my chronic sinus infection which a dozen other doctors in NJ was unable to diagnose and treat for over 5 years. He is my Hero for healing me from years of sufering so naturally he gets a 5 for everything.I only wish he was less rash in his consultations or maybe just more emphatic. It felt like a fast food joint and I never felt comfortable, nor did it help that the personal secretary was not the kindest and most helpful but the rest of the staff was incredible in all aspects. Bottomline: he is the best ENT I ever met and worth a visit when other ENTs havent solved your problem. Insurance: Other
