Dr. Samuel Overholt is an amazing doctor who is top of his field. He is genuine, caring, patient, kind, compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable, and creates a comfortable atmosphere. His bedside manner is very calming and nurturing. He explains everything about your condition and treatment well and takes time to answer all questions. He is a rare gem amongst his peers. I for one am thankful for his care.

Dr Overholt disappointed me and my son after such rave reviews from a family member. My son was getting many sinus infections and we were told he would get a CT scan, but first allergy tests. My son is not a severely allergic teen, but just has some seasonal issues. After the routine allergy testing, no CT scan because it was blamed on allergies. Dr. Overholt actually told my son if he wanted to avoid "his knife" then we should do the allergy shots. Needless to say, we did not do the allergy shots b/c they work for some and not for others. He is doing just fine on Allegra and occasionally steroid nasal sprays. He just wasn't a very nice person and kind of arrogant!

He had a different diagnoses than previous visit. Went to two different MDS that did not agree with him,but they each had the same diagnoses.
