I’ve worked with doctors professionally for the last 20 years and I just have to say that it’s Disservice to patients to have your new doctor communicating with patients the way she does. Never in my years… I would give zero stars if I could and that’s no reflection of Rhamanujam. Patients who get shifted from one Dr to another not a fault of their own should never be made feel by staff or the doctor that it is. Hopefully they can work on that. It is an awful burden for a patient to bare when they been waiting a month to tell your Rheumatologist the symptoms that you experienced after the latest initiation of a new medication… As well as follow up on how things change since stopping the last one.. Instead of finding a caring ear I was turned away with no answers…unheard ...told to follow up with your primary regarding the symptoms you experienced on a rheumatological medication… Awful. Very poor management of care. Deeply disappointed with this experience…..1 1/2 yrs later Dr. Rhaminugen a banded me as a patient after trying to pond me off on Stanford I follow through with her recommendation to get their opinion and she claimed that I didn't follow her recommendations because I listen to what they said. She then terminated our patient relationship without even telling me why only sending me a note in the mail. A pattern I hear she has. By the comments that were left here previously. I am told by my primary she's overwhelmed because she nearly lost her practice when she tried to take on a colleague and doubled her patient load. That person has since left and she now had has she told me over 2000 patients which is why she needed Stanford's help with me because I was complicated. Stanford didn't agree with her diagnosis or treatment plan and they said that they would reach out to her to explain why. She claims to never have gotten the message on multiple occasions so now Stanford told me they would be putting all further communication to her with a signed receipt that it was opened. My family feels due to her agitated response to me that she blames me for that 2000 patient caseload that she is having trouble managing. I will look at that letter as a door being opened to a new road of hopefully way better communication because this was by far the worst and most uncomfortable doctors experience I have ever had. I have been with the same doctors for the past 15 years and it just feels like I wasn't being heard and if you didn't fit into their box they were going to find a way to criticize you to defend their point.

I suffered with 8 years of painful and itchy spots and blisters on my hands and feet before coming to Dr. Ramanujam with pictures and a list of symptoms. My primary care physician as stumped. Dr. Ramanujam took one look at the pictures and said, "I know what this is." She then asked me a few questions, all of them directly pertaining to the problem and gave me a dead-on diagnosis. Knowing no how to deal with the problems and what the aggravating factors are, I've been symptom free for a full year. Hooray! And all it took was ten minutes in this office.

My first visit with her vas very thorough. She took a detailed history and ordered a number of tests that I hadn't already had. Follow up visits were considerably shorter but she is always concerned with how well my medication is working and has changed medications several times in order to find the one that relieves my symptoms the best. She always answers my questions completely and is very kind. She has been on time every time I have been to her office, which I find refreshing.
