Dr. Rankin, Terry, and Cathy are amazing. And so are every one else who work there! Cathy is not mean, she just has bad days people can't understand. Terry is the funniest lady I know and I love her opinions. Dr. Rankin is really friendly and I'm really comfortable talking to him. I love everyone there

Dr. Rankin was my doctor for several years until I moved away from the area. I was worried that I would have trouble finding a doctor as nice as Dr. Rankin. Thankfully, I have found a great doctor where I've moved. As for his staff though, unlike other people's opinions of Kathy, she was always nice to me. It was Terri that I found to be arrogant at times, and short fused.

Great Doctor. He may be quick, but he knows what he's doing. I like a wuick appointment. Get it, get diagnosed and treated, get out. Only problem, his receptionist Kathy is the biggest **** I have ever met. He probably won't fire her because he's scared of her. But He got me a referral to Doctor Hynes twice with NO problems. He is also VERY funny. Overall a wonderful doctor. And the fish! They are really cool to look at while you wait. Get rid of Queen Death Kathy and it would be a perfect 10!

Dr Rankin is such a great doctor and has a great sense of humor, as for the help well thats another story. Terry is great and Kathy is a royal B. She has been great on occasion but most times she is short and I feel bad for some older people while I'm waiting and they way she talks to them. I hate calling there, I feel like i am being sent to the principals office and even feeling guilty making an appointment. As for Rankin, like I said he is great, and takes the time to talk to you about your problems, some days he is rushed but overall a great doctor!

Dr. Rankin has been my doctor for about 17 years and I have alwasy been very happy with him! I was recently diagnosed with gallstones and had a cholecystectomy 4 months ago! since then Dr. Rankin has followed up with me to make sure i am ok, and that all is well! everytime i go see him he checks my incisions to make sure that they look ok! and as for the staff.... I love them all as well! Cathy is awesome she has always been helpful to me, and has never yelled at me or been rude to me, I like all the staff in the office there and am very happy to have a doctor as great as Dr Rankin!

I was suffering from severe pain and cluster migraines. I met with him and asked his opinion on how I should proceed. He suggested I bring in all my paperwork for our next meeting. I came back with all of my neurological and specialist reports. When I sat down he had forgotten he had asked for the paperwork and the reason for my visit. He didn't even glance at the file and stood up and left the office suggesting I was wasting his time and that he had no idea how to treat me. He suggested that I look on the internet and locate some treatment suggestions for him!!! I was very weak physically and emotionally at this point and held up the folder hoping this would jog his memory. He turned and walked out. I never went back. I've read the above and if you've got a hang-nail you might be O/K with this guy. I found him extremely arrogant and rude. My friend who suggested him has also left due to incompetence that was life threatening.

I love Dr. Rankin and have been seeing him pretty much since he started in Sarnia, but because of the receptionist, I have left his practise. I really cannot understand why she is still there - does he or Dr. Barnett not read these comments or does nobody complain in person to them about her? Or is she a family member of one of them? As for saying people have good days and bad - she has all bad and when working with the public you have to at least "pretend" to be having a good day. Her behavior/attitude is totally unacceptable. She should not be working with the public at all, let alone in a doctor's office where compassion is a necessity.

I've been seeing Dr. Rankin for 24 years. I have been bragging about him for that long as well. He always makes me feel like I am his only patient and that he has all the time in the world to answer all of my questions. My kids think he is a genius. I feel so fortunate to have such a good man as taking care of me and my family. As for Kathy, maybe she a few problems that make her grumpy? And we must keep in mind "those that deserve understanding the least, need it the most"
