Dr. Murdy has been my MD for the better part of 20 years his staff is excellent, he is knowledgeable and includes me in the decision process. Most important is that he listens to me and I feel I have a greater say in my care. I believe he has added years to my life and the quality of my life has improved significantly as a result. Thank you Dr. Murdy you are the best

Dr. Murdy has been my physicisan for about six years. When I came to him, to call my health crummy would have been generous. There are several things that I very much appreciate about him, but I will limit myself to the top three in the interest of overall significance. First, he saw the pain I was in as the first barrier to my overall health, and saw reducing my pain as primary in importance to any real improvement. Second, he never pretends to know everything, which makes it easier to believe him in what he does know. Third, everyone I have sent him to, and everyone who knows of him has heard positive things or had a positive outcome. My health is sooo much improved that it startles everyone. I am able to be an active participant in my own life instead of a disinterested spectator. He is a good man and he cares.

Dr. Murdy is a very intelligent, compassionate doctor. He is able to treat and fix many medical issues conservatively while avoiding expensive, unneccessary tests. If he feels that the conservative measures have been adequately tried but failed, he won't hesitate to refer you to a specialist. But he also will warn that doing so may result in the specialist possibly wanting to do elective surgery as the next step. He always takes time to listen to you and doesn't rush through his appointments. Since the new clinin and hospital have opened he is much better about being close to schedule and the wait times are much less than they used to be. But he is always worth the wait no matter how long it took. He helped me lose almost half my body weight and was willing to listen and accept my methods on how to do it even though they were very nontradional. He is always willing to learn even from his patients.

Dr. Murdy is one of the most intuitive doctors I have ever worked with. He was able to put into words what I could not express and always lead me in the right direction in regards to my health. He is very knowledgeable about medicine and is able to cite studies and is holistic in his approach. He remembers details about me as a person that makes me know he really understands my experience with health and lack if it. I have always been able to get in to see Dr Murdy when I need to and have Never been rushed. I know he has spent time he didn't have during the day and the end of his day so my needs could b met. I will never complain about having to wait!! I assume someone needed him more at that time so it OS my turn to wait. I am a RN and have dealt with many, many doctors over the years. Dr. Murdy ranks in the top of those doctors.

I think Dr Murdy is a wonderful, caring doctor. I find he's a popular M.D, so when i go to see him, its a bit of a wait sometime. I'm not overly impressed with one of the nurses rude, over the phone personalities, but since I don't have to talk to her very often over the phone, and she's never been overly rude in person, I won't mention her *grin*. It has also come to my attention that the nurses are deciding which "Patient Messages" go through to the doctors (And not just Dr Murdy's nurses), which is one of my reasons for giving his staff a low score. Dr Murdy's staff seem to be more patient with geriatric patients, then with younger people. Dr Murdy though is great with everyone.
