I was left in the room for over 2 hours place closed and all staff went to a meeting I finally found someone in the building that went and got the doctor he then came and said he had been reviewing my folder I had seen him 1 time before not much to review I also seen another DR. on different occasion but they including DR.Fowler could not find the notes from that visit his bedside manner needs a redo he lacks empathy he can no longer operate so I imagine that is why he is irritable I will be finding a new practice I can't trust a DR. that doesn't have Empathy for other's!

Waited over 45 min on 2 different occasions but you never know what's going on with a patient before you. I was in pain and that alone makes you grouchy. But once I seen him I was confident in his words and his personality was good. I hate he gets a bad rep for waiting times.

This doctor is always behind and like the reviewer below, I have waited over 2 hours to see him. The second appointment I was left in a room and did not see him until 6:00 pm for a 4:00 pm appt. After the wait, I was told he really didn't know what was wrong but I could sign off for "exploratory surgery". This guy is a horrible doctor and very self-centered. I would not recommend him to anyone. Stay away from this idiot and go elsewhere!

I have had a number of spinal surgeries by Dr. Fowler. He is very professional and skillful. He is always patient, taking time to explain options and answering questions. I cannot understand some of the negative comments I see here. They certainly do not describe the surgeon that I know. I highly recommend him to anyone needing the services of a neurosurgeon.

I waited over 2 hours past appointment time on first appointment. Second appointment staff informed me he was late yet again. I waited 2 hours and decided I will find a new surgeon after seeing his reviews here and other sites. I wasn't a fan of his manners either. Totally Unprofessional.

An excellent surgeon. I've been his patient for several years, with two spinal surgeries. Both went great. Always helpful, and never pushy. Was very late one time due to emergency in OR. I highly recommend.

I can't say I actually know Dr. Fowler, because I was so badly broken up from a 24 foot fall onto concrete that I remember very little of my treatment or the people involved in it; however, I do know that I was prepped to go into surgery to have three vertebrae in my lower back fused and supported by a steel rod - an operation that generally leads to long term restrictions and often problems, besides being very expensive. At the last minute Dr. Fowler decided NOT to operate, which was NOT in his economic interest, but definitely was in mine. My recovery was long but virtually 100% complete - maybe even 110%. Before the accident I had experienced significant twinges of sciatica pain. It never returned.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. They had me scared to death to see Dr. Fowler. I took my daughter to him this morning and was pleasantly surprised. We were called in to the exam room at 9:40, 5 min before our 9:45 appt time. We waited in the exam room as long as we've waited for any other M.D. so the service was very prompt in my opinion. Dr. Fowler was extremely nice, patient, informative, and thorough. My daughter and I left the office feeling like we were in great hands.

I went to this guy and he told me he could fix my discs but he would have to break six ribs and collapse a lung and he didn't think it was worth it. I've been in pain for over 5 years and on disability. How would he know if it was worth it. he wasn't in pain. To have it fixed would be worth it to me. And he charged me $650.00 for 15 minutes to tell me that! That's $2400.00 an hour to tell people you don't think it's worth it to fix them! That's a pretty good scam to me! Don't let this guy touch you!
