Dr is a great Dr when you have a common alement or for check ups without any complications. However he was not the right doctor for me as I have thyroid problems and he did not know how to deal with them. At one point with a symptom of a numb upper lip, after telling him that I needed a referral for an Endo and an allergist, he then decided to give me a prescription for a antidepressant. He was at his wits end and didn't have time to educate himself about what the latest thyroid findings, or think on what allergies can affect re: the numb upper lip. This was a full year after being under his care where he was telling me to know my body better. The staff was nice but when I was sent for a ultrasound, I was directed to a place where I was grossly overcharged. Fired him after that and found a better doctor fit for me.

Dr. Kraut is an excellent doctor. He listens carefully and provides excellent analytical diagnosis. He provides very good follow up. However, the front desk office staff does not provide high-quality customer service. The receptionist does not send out reminder appointment cards or courtesy reminder call, even if the appointment is made six months before for a physical. If you miss one appointment, expect to pay a $25 charge (even if it is your first time). If you make an appointment with the receptionist because you think you might have a mini stroke and are concerned with partial facial paralysis, you can expect her to comment on the way your face looks in a full waiting room. If you miss a follow up on a test, you can expect her to chew you out in front of a full waiting room. I find no other problems with the other staff and find them to be very professional.

Dr. Kraut actually listens to what you have to say. He acts as if he has all the time in the world to spend with you! Nice, knowledgeble, easy going man with a helpful friendly staff. One complaint. Takes to long to ok refills on prescriptions.

Dr. Kraut is an excellent doctor. He is professional, a good listener, and is very good at diagnosis. His specialist referrals are generally very good. His office staff is needs to work on their customer service skills.
