32 years ago, Dr. Pena successfully gave my son the only opportunity of having a normal life. He very bluntly prepared me to cope with raising a child with this type of disability. With the guidance, my son missed very few days of school & works 40 hours a week. I appreciate this man & even though I don't keep in touch, I pray for him everyday.

Dr. Pena gave my daughter a life. His gentle way, His confidence, and ability shine like a golden aura around him. He cares about each one of his patients. We needed him 17 years ago and we still stay in touch with him. He is the best of the best.

Dr Pena is the most humble, caring, angelic pediatric surgeon. He is a miracle worker who has dedicated his life to helping those born with anorectal malformations and the associated consequences of this defect. I love this man more than words can express. he gets it all. He operated on me in 2004 as an adult. He is my inspiration, my hero, and a man I will never forget.
