Dr. Hay is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He has a gigantic god complex and looks down on anyone that questions him. I went into preterm labor at 20 weeks and he would not help us save our baby. He told me the only choice was to induce labor and my baby would not make it. He told my husband over and over again that I would develop an infection and die. After speaking with with my Midwife and a Perinatologist, I found out there was at least a small chance. I stood my ground and transferred care to Great Falls where they would at least let me try different options. I still lost my son but if I hadn't stood up against this man I would feel guilty the rest of my life. I have heard many different stories from women in the community about his incompetence but I had never experienced them first hand until he happened to be all on call when I needed an OB. Not only did he speak down to us like we were uneducated morons but he also treated me like my babies life meant absolutely nothing even though I could still feel him moving inside me. From now on I will drive to Great Falls for any type of medical care.

Dr. Hay was not my original OBG-YN but because I had to have an emergency c-section he took over, while they were prepping me in the OR he was extremely rude and bullying all of the nurses in the room. He never once spoke to me before or during my c-section to tell me what was going to happen, while he was stitching me up my husband told me he wasn't even looking at me, instead he was flirting with one of ladies in the room, and after the procedure he just walked out without saying a word. When he finally did check in with me the next day, he stood at the door, didn't bother coming into the room, and spoke to my husband rather than to me about my pain and if there were any questions, even though I was fully awake and alert. Aside from the one time he stopped in he never checked in again during the five days post-op that I was in the hospital. I absolutely love the Women's Health Care Clinic, but I will NEVER be seen by Dr. Hay again.

While he has no bedside manner, he knows what he's doing. I'm fairly certain he saved both mine and my daughter's lives when I was in labor, when my own doctor refused to do anything (Dr. Hay was the on-call doctor). At least Dr. Hay thought my blood pressure being over 200 was a problem! I wish he would have better informed me what was going on, but at least he did something. He is better talking to men than women (so I don't really understand why he's an obgyn). Maybe he is just socially awkward, but he knows what he's doing.

I was under Dr. Hay's care for endometriosis. He was not compassionate or understanding. He did not explain to me my options (apparently there are none). I left his office confused and sad after every visit. Will never go back.

Dr Hay was my surgeon a few months ago. He did an exceptional job. He was very caring, considerate and knowledgeable in his specialty.

Me & another woman witnessed the staff bullying a pregnant teenager and then speak about her within our hearing range. Neither one of us knew what to do since we had been chasticed too. Not very HIPAA compliant. They had mixed up my medical records with someone else and then he went to examine me. I was horrified and was speechless as he scratched his nose and touched his face with his medical gloves and then did the unthinkable..he examined me! I was in so much shock I couldn't speak. I will never, ever go to this horrible doctor again.
