Very difficult to deal with and hard to get information about your illness and how to proceed. Seemed to be aloof with a superior attitude and that the patient cant possible understand or comprehend their condition or steps for treatment. Avoids answering questions directly and side steps. Has overlooked symptoms and trivialized patients concerns. Staff tend to be abrupt and distance to the point of arrogance. Appointments were never even close to the scheduled time.

I'm not a big fan of Doctor Hadley, although he is my family doctor. He is ALWAYS running late. He never really listens to us or our problems. He makes you book a second appointment if you have more than one problem you want to talk about. My mother was depressed and when she went to bring up her second problem to him, he stopped her and told her she'd have to book a 2nd appointment to talk about that. I mean she could have went home and killed herself. He is just not very good at what he does, he does not seem to care about his patients at all. And he is deffinitely judgemental, especially if you have tattoos or piercings. I do not trust him or his knowledge, nor do I plan on going back to see him anytime soon, although when I do go to his office for the after hours walk-in clinic (so I can avoid dealing with him), I always seem to be stuck with him anyways. It just helps if your doctor is someone you feel you can really trust.

My opinion of this Dr. has come from a recent significant incident where I very quickly realized his approach to his profession. Also, years ago I had a physician very much like him who almost allowed me to dye, because of this kind of doctor/patient relationship approach. Also,I feel Dr. Hadley lacks focus as to who he is advocating for, which, of course must be the patient. I consider any advocating professional who has this personality type, to make decisions from their own personal conclusions, rather than listen with faith and confidence to their client/patient.

Punctuality is horrible. I find it very frustrating when you take time off work for what should be a quick appointment and end up in the office for hours. I understand things come up; however I don’t think it should be a re-occurring issue. I also feel very rushed once in the office. I have actually been told to rebook for another appointment because I could only discuss one thing. When you have to wait 2-3 weeks for an appointment, hearing that is more then frustrating not to mention another half-day off work. As far as the knowledge of the doctor goes, I believe he is a decent doctor; however the late and rushed appointments in my option are diminishing the patient’s quality of care.

Never on time, nad when you do see him he rushed through the visit. If he was running on time in the first place you may actually get the attention you deserve !!

I work within health care and when I first moved to Brantford I (like most people in my field) asked around the hospital for who the staff would chose. The most frequent name that came up was Dr. Hadley (who I did not know personally as I am in another field altogether). He has always been great and I now travel quite a distance to see him as I have moved. Highly recommended. In regards to the punctuality comment. Have you ever had a doctor where you don't have to wait? Let me explain how it works. You book your schedule for a full day but unfortunately emergencies happen that you have to deal with. It's not the doctors fault that your gas problem is not as vital to get to than their patient who is experiencing a stroke.
