I have been seeing Dr. Lo for 25 years as well as my children. He is a wonderful physician. He always managed to squeeze me in if it was urgent. Always made time to listen carefully to all my issues. If he can't figure it out he refers to a specialist. I and my kids adore him and will be sad to see him go.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. We see him not only when we need medical advice but yearly for check ups and he is thorough with everything. What a pleasure it has been to have him for a family doctor!

Has a real problem with his ego and will feel threatened if you mention comments from pharmacists or other doctors. Actually will yell at you and be extremely rude.
To reiterate a previous review “if you tell him you heard about something then he immediately feels threatened and angry, becomes extremely unprofessional and petty, and will lip you off and make any and every kind of personal attack on you. He is constantly swearing about everything. He is extremely egotistical, thin-skinned and easily upset about anything. He will often swear about any other profession related to healthcare other than doctors. If you suggest a second opinion, he will yell at you. The only thing he cares about is his own ego. If you have any kind of condition that is more than the basics, he is out of his league.” Avoid.

First off, his receptionist is terrible. When I try to call the doctor, she acts like I am bothering her and hangs up on me without saying Goodbye. She does not offer any friendliness or extra information except the absolute bare minimum. I have been suffering from what seems like sleep apnea for a few months now. I contacted a sleep clinic that was going to provide a sleep study. A referral was sent to doctor Lo two weeks before my appointment. Both I, and the customer service rep from the sleep clinic attempted to get through to Dr. Lo for two weeks... Whenever we called, the receptionist would tell us the file was on his desk and he would review it and send it back before my appointment. I was never informed that I should come in for an appointment with doctor Lo before my sleep clinic appointment. A few days before, the sleep clinic rep and I were both told that the Doctor would be signing the referral and returning it in time for my appointment. With that knowledge, I went in for my appointment and I was informed that they never recieved any referral. The sleep tech called Dr. Los receptionist and got the usual rudeness. She said that I "shouldn't have self-referred" even though this is normal with sleep clinics and she reported the doctor refused to sign the referral unless I made an appointment with him. If they had just told me this at any point during the two weeks, or told the sleep clinic, I would have done it and been able to keep my appointment. Instead they acted like I was out of bounds for seeking help and that I should have just known to make an appointment with the Dr. So now I must wait until I find another family doctor in order to get any help for my constant waking up choking during the night. This incident, the constant rudeness and lack of caring from his receptionist, and how the doctor handled my recent miscarriage (Very insensitively, and with arrogance and bossiness), I will not ever go back.

My whole family sees Dr. Lo. He is very considerate and polite. He usually can solve our problems or will refer us to see a specialist. We are very grateful that he looks after us.
