I was referred to this man in spring 2013. It was a nightmare. He had a motorcycle accident shortly after my first visit but even prior to that he was something. He left me in the examination room for over an hour. People were leaving the bldg and I was in there all alone. He didn't diagnose my condition properly at all. I had 2 scans and the man failed to address many issues.
I progressively declined in a matter of months finally ended up in the emergency room Dec 2013 here Dr. Reid was on call and read my cat scan and other test results. I was scheduled for surgery Feb 2014. I had a uterus the size of a 7lb babies head that was easily found on the scan. Along with that I had a philopian tube that had fallen between the rectum and vagina not to mention fibrodes etc.
I would never recommend this man.

2 weeks after meeting Dr. Thomas and having a biopsy and IUD inserted, Dr. thomas called me himself to give me the results to my biopsy and to tell me that he wanted to see me in person to discuss what the results meant for me. When I saw him 2 days later, he was professional, but sympathetic and no-nonsense.

Dr Thomas was unprofessional during my appointment. He drew a picture of a uterus and explained was an IUD was and did not offer any alternative treatments or procedures for my suspected "endometriosis." He did not listen to me or answer my questions. Being in his office was further uncomfortable as he and his male resident/placement student were giggling while the uterus drawing was created and explained in a condescending manner. Never have I had such poor care in a hospital nor would I trust such an incompetent and unprofessional person to insert an object into my uterus. I would suggest trying to get an appointment with a different OBGYN at KGH if at all possible. The staff otherwise at the office were kind and helpful.

Dr Thomas and his admin asst, Kim, are both amazing. I can be a difficult patient, and I know I tried his patience on more than one occasion but he never got cross with me even once. Very professional, kind and caring.

Very professional, extremely knowledgeable but yet caring for his patient’s comfort. He explained everything clearly and gave options. I am grateful that I am under his care.

My mother was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and needed a full hysterectomy done. From day one of meeting with him he was very professional and knowledgeable. I attended every visit with my mom as she has difficulty speaking/understanding English sometimes and he was very patient with us during the translation process. Overall an excellent and caring doctor.

Usually had to wait a few minutes before being seen, usually by a resident first. But very knowledgeable and helpful. Will be returning soon :)
