DR. Robertson has given me medical advice for over 25 years. She listens and is compassionate, and has always recommended top-ranked specialists when required. Good job, Doc!

I like her very much. She is rushed at times and abrupt, but overall a great person and Dr.

Doesn't understand chronic pain conditions and fibromyalgia. I come away with a strong sense of invalidation.

Dr.Mary is definitely a "character" in this day & age of generic personalities. She has her own opinions & stands by them. However, if she thinks you need a test or tests, she will do everything possible to get them done for you. She does NOT take kindly to your asking her to send you for a specific test or a specific doctor. It has to be her idea. (I have to work on how I word my requests!!!!)I can understand why people take offense with her, but once you understand her, you can deal with it. She is a very direct person who doesn't waste words & expects people to deal with her the same way. When you phone her, you just say in minimal words "Hi, it's ...... - do you have time to see me today or tomorrow?" She will then tell you a time & the day -- and, if it's agreeable to you, you just say "ok" -- & she hangs up. I'm now used to that. She doesn't have time for idiots, neither do I, so I can understand why she is the way she is sometimes.

No front office staff. She is great in taking me on a casual (no appointment booked basis), which is great with my chronic health issues.

Dr. Robertson has been my GP since birth (over 25 yrs ago). She has seen my family though many medical issues over the years and has been the most caring, compassionate, competent doctor we could ever hope for. It is not easy to be a GP and every GP has missed a thing or two in their career. We will be very sad when she retires.

Dr. Robertson was (and still is) my mum's doctor and has been mine since i was born. I have never had any complaints about her. If you show up early for an apointment and she doesn't have anyone else there then you're in right away. She takes the time to get to know you and remembers what you're doing and actually takes interest in your emotional health as well as physical. I don't know what I'm going to do when she retires.

The best patient advocate I have ever seen. If you need something this doctor gets it done for you! She may sometimes appear rude and harried but have you ever seen how many patients she sees in one day? Have you ever wondered why you she can sneak you in without an appointment? As for those who complain but have gone to her for many years - if you don't like the service find someone else and leave the appointment time for those of us who appreciate her!
