The rudest doctor I have encountered. Don't want to waste time writing anything more about this doctor

This doctor called my office to request results on her patient and proceeded to yell and talk over me. I declined her service as a result.
That is not how you treat people who are trying to help you. She needs to learn some manners and self control.

VERY MEAN, ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SPOKE TO. SHE JUST ENJOYS BELITTLING AND CALLING YOU AWFUL THINGS. HOW DOES SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSE TO BE A DOCTOR THAT WORKS WITH PEOPLE ALL DAY HAVE ZERO COMPASSION OR EMPATHY, AWFUL PERSON. REALLY TIME TO RETIRE!!

During my first appointment with Dr. Mary about 8 years ago, she took about 20 mins to ask me about who I am and what I did in life before asking why I had come to see her. I’m surprised by other reviews, I have found her to be the best doctor I’ve ever had.

She caught my friends cancer by hearing her cough. The lady knows her stuff.

She might be a little disorganized and in her own time zone, that’s fair if that is a deal breaker but in my books she is amazing and really cares about people. She’s only been angry at me once and it was during the onset of Covid and well…everyone has bad days, even doctors.

My sister and her husband both see her, and love her. She got my sister's husband in for a knee replacement quickly. She takes her time with me. Very relatable, interested in mental health, open to parent experience of medication, and open-minded. I was hesitant given the reviews but very happy with my visit. As one reviewer notes below, "a bit nutty, but I like nutty" - I guess that's a bit true :) I think she's great.

Instead of answering a simple question, she feels the need to belittle you for asking. Extremely unprofessional and by reading her other reviews, appears to be a common theme in her practice.

I am a former patient, 20+ years and it’s always been an uphill battle with her. She puts her personal opinion before facts and data and may have cause permanent health damage to myself and many others. It’s ridiculous the things she will come up with.
I will be reporting her for malpractice, violation of dr/patient confidentiality and abuse. Every one who’s ever had issues with her should do the same.

I'm a former patient, I went to her most of my life and my mom did too before I was born and that was 33 years ago. When it comes to normal ailments and getting you to a specialist she's fabulous, but in the last 10 years she's needed to retire. When i was under 20 she was a great doctor, very helpful and really cared about her patients, but the last 10 years she's become rather impersonal, distrusts her patients, her memory is going and if you had a few different family members going to her as patients as well, she'd tell them your personal info (what is wrong & what she thinks they should do to help you etc..). The way she treated my husband since he came to this country was unfair and biased due to her past with former patients trying to use the system. My husband had genuine pain and other ailments, but she refused to believe him due to his race and her personal opinion that he was faking the pain, just so he could be lazy and not work. Which of course wasn't the case, my husband was in genuine pain (in fact he hates not working very much, enjoys being helpful and despises getting help from anyone, he likes to work for what he wants, he's not lazy or a user of the system like she thought) and thank goodness the specialist she sent him to solved the problem, before the medication she prescribed did anymore damage to his health. Dr. Mary Robertson desperately needs to retire, her helpfulness dwindles every year she still works and after all the good years she's had as a great doctor, she deserves to have a long and happy retirement. Unfortunately, she's worked most of her life and wouldn't know what to do with herself if she ever retired and I think that fear has kept her still working. Despite her sometimes rude attitude and other negative faults, doesn't take away that she used to be a great doctor and unfortunately has become a little bitter, due to how many patients try to take advantage of the medical/work system that she has it in her head that most people are faking ailments to get money from the government, which doesn't help the people who actually need the help, like my husband did. If it weren't for her when I was a teenager, I don't know if I'd be around with the amount of gallstones i had and due to her quick thinking to get me to have a ultrasound and get me quickly to a specialist for the surgery, i might not be here today. As, I've said she was a great doctor when I was young, but now I honestly think it's time for her to retire.

Honestly, what an awful human being, let alone doctor. Her office is outdated and she hasn't entered the 21st century of EMRs. She's so incredibly rude and just yells at you. She doesn't let you speak and just belittles you. I would not recommend. Ever. There's a lot of amazing family doctors out there - no need to go to this one.
