I see the negative reviews but have not had a bad experience with this doctor or staff. Sometimes there is a wait time but that happens with every doctor you go to!

As previous reviews said, he should not be a pediatrician. Today we filed a formal complaint with the state becuase of the horrible experience we had this morning. I hope they close his office

I gave birth at the desert regional medical center and Dr. Quintanilla was the hospital pediatrician at the time. I then got a "final notice" statement in the mail for $200 when this was the first statement that i received and i have health insurance that should cover this. My husband called Dr. Q office in Rancho Mirage to try to sort it out and the receptionist was VERY rude to him. She didn't want to call our insurance so she told my husband to call and sort it out and to call her back. He called and told her that our insurance does cover this and that a Aetna representive would be calling her. Aetna called us back and said that she was being difficult to them too and that she didn't believe they were the insurance company and needed all this verification! My husband called her back and she said they are re-prossess it but that they better get the payment in a week from the insurance co or they are still going to put it in collections. That was enough for us to change pediatricians!

The worst nightmare! The doctor was okay... always in a hurry and was not supportive about breastfeeding. The nurses (especially the nurse that has been there for a long time) she was very aggressive and rude. They lost a lot of our sensitive informations and told us that it was not their responsiblity. How could that not be their responsiblity? If they can't be responsible for any papers we submit how can I trust them with my child? Furthermore, the nurse didn't know how to weigh and measure my baby correctly so the doctor had to re-measure and weigh him again... I have been to three pediatrician and this has been the worst office! I strongly recommend not going there!
