Dr pawliuk is an amazing man.I suffered from postpartum psychosis and after finding out a life my ex fiance had hiden from me I decided to leave him, but while I was in hospital my sons father got an ex parte order of interm custody, I am still going through the court battle.Dr Pawliuk is a smart man who has a really warm caring heart. He listens to what I have to say and respects me as an individual.I trust him 100% and he has been a great support for me during this custody battle.I can say that I dont think I would be as strong as I am today if it werent for everything he has taught me.He is a very smart man who trully does care.Thank you for everything you have done for me and my children and for taking the time to get to know me.

Dr. Pawliuk deals with very difficult and very ill patients and keeps his cool even when being verbally abused by them. I have personally witnessed him "under fire" and have been impressed by his patience.

I have suffered with depression for over 10 years, and I had seen several doctors and shrinks before Dr. P. with no results. Dr. P. Gave me an aggressive treatment with a combination of drugs (we tried quite a few to find the ones that worked for me) as well as lots of psychotherapy that got me out of my rut. The group he runs that I attended was also very helpful (it is much more than a support group as there is a Dr present for input and to guide discussion). I was able to finish my degree and I am now depression free and have been for over a year. We've now backed off some of my meds to avoid side effects and I'm still feeling great. He is quick to answer my emails and refill my prescriptions. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is frustrated with their current doctor.

Dr. Pawliuk has been very helpful and understanding. I have been seeing psychiatrists, taking their pills and trying to get better for over 20 years. The others prescribed just their one favourite kind of pill and simply played with the dosage. Dr. Pawliuk will try different medicines in different combinations to try and optimize their effects and look for effective combinations with a minimum of side effects. Dr Pawliuk is the first Dr to take an active interest in helping me to get better. He moderates a depression support group that I have attended for the past couple of years. In this group environment he is instructive, insightful, supportive and entertaining. I look forward to attending each week.

I have always found Dr. Pawliuk to be very cheerful, helpful, and he listened to you, he has the ability to come up with solutions quickly. It wouldn't matter who you are, he would help. In all my meetings or being around him, he always has a good attitude and never is negative.

I am so greatful for having Dr. Pawliuk as my doctor. He is genuine and really listens to your needs and has helped me through the worse time I had ever experienced in my life. I have always had my phone calls returned by him. He has been excellent and the treatment has been right on.

I found this doctor not very helpful and not willing to be flexible when it was obvious that the medications he was prescribing to me wasn't working. I was increasingly becoming more sick. I found that he seemed to have his own preset agenda as far as treatment went, and wasn't open to alternating it. After a very long and painful recovery of his drug regime, I was successful in my complaint to the College with regards to his treatment. My advice is to avoid this one the best you can.
