I will be changing this Dr as my child's Pediatrician after my second visit with him. He took offense to the fact that I have opted to delay vaccinations and suggested that I change doctors as we dont see "eye to eye". My son was born at home with a midwife and did not have his PKU test done, Dr Quiros immediately left the room to speak to the office manager so she could research whether or not this was "illegal".
During the entire visit, I felt he was scolding me. He has poor bedside manners to say the least. Im ok with my doctor not agreeing 100% with my informed decision, but I do not want to be talked down to. I am very dissatisfied with this Dr.

My sister had been taking my nephew to Dr.Quiros for a few years, do when I had my son I decided to use him. His staff never got back to me so my sons first visit was was almost 2 weeks after he was born. He is not so rude as his wife. She is a witch and the reason why I left. She is very rude to the patients and their parents. I will never recommend him to anyone. Oh and it has now been over a year since I left and they have never released my sons records.

There is so many things wrong with this doctor and his staff that I could not stay quiet and I'm hoping my review will help parents make the right decision when choosing a pediatrician for their child. This doctor has a very bad temper,I had seen him go off on parents on multiple occasions and found myself feeling very uncomfortable listening to how he would treat his patients. Being a first time mom, I was a bit concerned with the vaccines and called twice to ask a question, mind you this was in a two week period of t and the only reason I called twice was because no one ever called me back after the first time I called. The doctor took the phone from the receptionist and told me I wasted enough of the staffs time and he was tired of me calling and he has his way of doing vaccines and if I don like it I could go somewhere else, he left me speechless and I could not believe how rude and disrespectful he was to me. I immediately went and picked up my son's file. Best decision I made

Dr. Quiros was recommended by my OBGYN. He appeared knowledgable and understanding the first few times we went in for well baby visits and for shots. However, reaching him on the phone was impossible. My son was allergic to several different formulas. He told me that my son could start drinking regular milk at 12 months. When I called to ask how I should make the change from formula to milk, I didn't receive a response for over two weeks. After being very patient, I finally called. I don't think that three phone calls over a three week period is extreme, but Dr. Quiros got on the phone yelling and screaming that I have wasted enough of his staff's time. This is extremely unprofessional, not to mention, completely unwarranted. I had heard him yelling at other patients while I was in the waiting room, but at the time I really hadn't thought much of it. I have since found a new doctor. He's only interested in your money and will speak with you when he can charge for a consult.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS DOCTOR! I'm taking the time to post this review because it is so important for me to get this information out there so that parents do not take their children to him. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across and his staff is extremely incompetent. His office is dirty, his staff doesn't seem to be trained on cleanliness and cross contamination, wait time is long, doctor is always in a hurry and doesn't take the time to answer questions or explain things, never returns phone calls, he wants to only do things his way and does not take parents opinions into considerations, everyone in that office is rude and unprofessional, especially the doctor. There are so many other things wrong with this doctor, but these were some of the main issues. My biggest regret is not taking my child out of his care sooner. I hope this review is able to help parents make the right choice when choosing a pediatrician. Best word to describe him is RUDE!!!

If you can't take someone being totally honest and straight foward with you, then this Dr. is not for you. He is an excellent dr. Extremely knowledgable and will take same day appointments if your child is sick. You can call at any time after hours if you are concerned about your childs health. I have tried two other pediatricians and found Dr. Quiros to be the best. His private practice has NOT been shut down. He did close his Miami Lakes Office and Moved farther North to Mirimar. He is now located in Memorial Hospital. He has been seeing my children for the past seven years and I wouldn't even think about changing to another Doctor. Some people are easily offended by him because he is outspoken and has a strong personality. If you sit your littlebaby on top of the counter and walk away to get your purse you are going to hear an earful. (this does not make him a bad doctor)

Has been both of my children's pediatrician- my oldest is 11 now. I admire his no nonsense approach- meaning he gets to the problem FAST. He is also good at educating the parents which is essential.

Dr. Quiros was my pediatrician when I was a child. Now he attends my children. Dr. Quiros is a young doctor who is knowledgable, caring, and available to his patients. He always returns a call. He's opened his office for us on a Saturday when my youngest was running a high fever.
