I've been going to Dr. Claves for the past 10 years, and couldn't be happier... so much so that I drive close to an hour to continue going to her since I moved over a year ago. She's thoughtful, knowledgeable, and focused on what's best for her patients.

Dr. Claves has excellent bedside manner which, in my opinion, is hard to come by these days. She takes her time, listens, asks questions, and is very thorough. She calls back with all results, good or not. If you have symptoms, she never dismisses you without trying to find the answer. A caring professional - I would highly recommend her.

I agree with the other reviewer on how significant it is for a Primary Care Doctor to know what they know and know what they do not. Dr. Claves is fantastic at professionally discerning when to refer a patient and current in her experience of whom she should refer them to. Dr. Jennifer Claves is also very knowledgeable, professional and caring. She genuinely cares about the whole person and is not dismissive of patient concerns. Her new affiliation within Mainline Health (the Broomall practice) is refreshingly patient centered - not like some practices which seem to exist for the convenience of the physician. Dr. Claves is also supportive of patients who strive for healthy living through nutrition and exercise and is not quick to medicate those who want to try natural approaches first. Radiant and fit, herself, she sets a great health example! She is the best doctor for someone who truly wants to be engaged in their healthy future.

Dr. Claves is a very good doc who knows what she knows and also knows what she doesn't know. Also a huge plus for a doctor -- she is kind and not arrogant. She listens.

Wow! I'm surprised at the low reviews. I've only been to her once-changed drs.-1st visit she did blood work, a urine sample, and ekg because I complained about having pains around my heart...I thought she was great. Called w/test results fairly quickly. And spent quite a bit of time with me-I had a list of things I wanted to ask about and she answered all and asked me questions. Assistants to the dr. seemed nice. Office staff..fine. Waiting area is a little depressing, needs some warmth to it. Overall I thought I had a good experience.

I can't believe some of these bad reviews I am reading. Is this a review of the doctor I go to? The only explanation is the happy ones don't write reviews, only the unhappy ones do. My experience has always been great. Dr. Claves takes the time to explain things. She calls back right away. She calls back with the test result even if she is not the doctor who ordered the test if she thinks the patient is worried. My ophthalmalogist recommended her and I am very happy to have found her. (I rated the office staff low because they mixed up my patient file with other patients with the same name a couple times. Dr. Claves solved this problem.)

Dr. Claves is very nice but her medical knowledge is poor and she does not thoroughly look at your chart before she comes in to see you or contact you by phone. I had not even finished my paperwork when she came in to talk to me during my first visit, and in an attempt to rush through my appointment she insisted I finish filling out the forms DURING my exam. I had a medical problem and her response to me via voicemail at 455 on a Friday was to "wait a few days and hope my symptoms go away, and if they don't go away then to call back in a week and change medication" For starters, when you leave someone a message at that time there is no way they can get back to you until Monday, which is very unhelpful when you have a non-emergency but painful medical problem. Secondly, I wasn't on any medication for her to change. With every encounter I more and more felt that she had not looked at my chart before speaking with me and that she didn't care how I physically felt. Office also very hot.
