A great Family doctor to the family..very caring and knowledgable..dont know what would do without him!

How lucky am I to have Dr. L. as a family practioner? Now words to describe it. He too has been the pratitioner my parents, brother and I have turned to since he and his wife first moved here. Talk about being on time my bottom does not even have a chance to hit the chair before I'm being called in. Unfortunately I am a smoker but he is so nonjudgemental that I don't even have a fear of hiding about it...we are able to talk about it openly. I have a quit date in September. I'm quitting for myself first, family second and then for Dr. L for reasons that all of you writing on this page know. His patients want to make him proud because he demonstrates so much pride in us! Please note that he is amazing but the very busy clinic he operates out of could use some Customer Service inservices.

"Diamond" Don Leishman is an excellent doctor and even better fisherman. If you're a trout, beware! Dr. Leishman is going to catch you and eat you.

Dr Leishman has been my doctor for twenty five years. His wisdom,empathy,and unassuming nature make him irreplaceable . The courage and candor with which he faces his own health problems are remarkable. His patients know how extremely fortunate we are to be in his care. New, young physicians should model their careers after this extrodinary gentleman.

Dr. Leishman has been my doctor since I was 18. He is punctual and we can always get an appointment when needed. He treats you with dignity and makes you part of the decision making when dealing with your health issues. He is one in a million

Dr. Leishman is the finest Doc in all the land. A deditcated life to helping and caring for others above and beyond. Over 20 years, through babies, teenagers, menopause and crises, he makes me feel like my family is the most important... you always take the time to make sure my worrisome questions and concerns are addressed (even in spite of your own struggles) YOU rock doc! Dr. Leishman is the best. He has been our family doctor for over 20 years, and has always provided myself and my 2 daughters with excellent care. 22yrs ago he saved my daughter's life by insisting I bring her to see him after seemingly having a reaction to a regular immunization. It turned our he was right, as she had Spinal Menigitis,and would have been dead by morning, if he hadn't insisted on just checking her out. He and his collegues aired on the side of caution, and my daughter is now 23 yrs old, and very healthy, with no side effects present, from her near death experience. She to now is a mom, as well as her sister, and Doctor Leishman is also the family doctor for both of my granddaughters. Our family holds a very high regard for Dr. Leishman, and we wish him all the best with his own health. We appreciate you, and hope you will be our doctor for many years to come. Anyone having the priviledge of having Dr. Leishman care for them should consider themselves very fortunate.

Dr. Leishman has been my family doctor for as long as I can remember. He makes people feel comfortable in his office. He doesn't keep people waiting, and I always feel like he remembers me, as though he had just seen me the day before (even if my visits are years apart). I say he's an excellent doctor!

Doctor Leishman is a wonderful person and a great family doctor. He has been my physician for many years and I'm grateful to him for his patience, understanding and knowledge. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Dr Leishman has been my Dr for 25 yrs.He always takes time for you and gets to the bottom of your problems.I think he is one of the best Dr.s Thunder Bay has to offer. More Doctors should be like him. I wish him the best of health and hope his medical problems are behind him.
